Love this video Corinne. You mentioned you could do this with the Cricut Joy. Do you have a video for that, as I know you cannot do the traditional Print then Cut feature on the Joy and what setting would you use for the magnet sheet? Thanks
Hi, thanks for this video. Any advice as how i can make my own sticker design and what settings i would need to set it at, how to save and get it ready to send to cricuit for a magnet? New to cricuit and magnet and sticker making. =)
I just got my Cricut and am so excited that I can make magnets! Can’t wait to try this! What is the benefit of using printable vinyl in this case, where neither side of the vinyl is exposed? I’m assuming white card stock or maybe even plain white printer paper would be fine since the magnetic sheet is sticky but would love to know why you chose the vinyl! Thanks for the video!
Printable vinyl is a far better product for something like this especially in a kitchen because the product can be wiped off or cleaned. It will also hold up far better to being handled. Paper is just that paper and is not meant to be wet or handled a lot without showing wear and tear.
Corrine, I want to make a front door sign on a 15 inch pizza pan-I plan to use permanent vinyl for Home Sweet Home-my thought is to change out the two “O’s” in home with a magnetic sticker-I am thinking I could do pumpkins for fall, wreath for Christmas, something for Easter, Valentine’s, St Patrick’s Day etc throughout the year-maybe make a few other stickers for the different occasions - do you think that would work - I saw the pizza pan at Dollar General - maybe paint it white - what do you think? any thoughts?
