That is really the first $20 million townhouse in Manhattan that I've seen that is worth the price.

+Dennis Hillinger OMG yes! I just looked at that property and it is amazeballs! Five floors and a private elevator to get to each one, 11,000 sq. ft. including 2,000 sq. ft. of outdoor space, five bedrooms, a full-floor master suite, twelve bathrooms, a lap pool (!), private garage, wine cellar, rooftop hot tub, THX home theater, and the list goes on! The only improvement I'd make to it would be a better view of the skyline from the roof. Completely worth the price!

It's a very beautiful townhouse, love it. Sure, kinda agree with you, but better view mostly means higher building, which would be probably not possible with NYC laws. Have you seen the location? You walk less then 5 minutes to meatpacking district, it's just amazing and totally worth the price in my eyes. I'm btw from Germany, so please excuse my not so perfect english.
Your English is very good :) And I agree, it would be hard to have a taller building there but imagine if it had. That view would be amazing if you see all the way down to the Statue of Liberty or 1 World Trade Center (Freedom Tower), or all the way up to midtown (the Empire State Building, the Chrysler Building, etc.). Even at $29 million, 357 West 17th Street is totally worth the price!

I'm so proud of how far you've came in the 3 years since this video was uploaded. From being jokingly picked on by Serhants, to being on his level in regards to showcasing a potential home for someone, and now having a space 5x bigger than the one you were in at this point. From the shoebox with a brick wall & rodent problems, to a 300 sq ft apartment, to a humungous loft that all of us are proud of you for obtaining. Rome wasn't built in a day!

I've lived in a city with barely over 100,000 people, San Francisco, and NYC. If I have the money I'd definitely rather live in the latter two despite the cost. I miss the diverse culture, social events, superior cuisine, energy, etc. What good is a palace in the middle of nowhere?

Okay so my conclusion is, that to be a successful real estate agent, you must have a sexual attractiveness presence of 15%, not higher, for that would be for dating, not lower, for that would be boring and not leave impression, but just a waft of sexual attractiveness at 15%, which leaves the buyer wanting more but still focused on the house. That's what this silver haired real estate agent gives me.

It's nice! But I'm tired of shared living spaces. I miss living in a home with a yard and neighbors you don't share floors, walls, parking garages with or anything with! :) I want a home!

Imagine just laying there playing video games, when you're suddenly like "Ah, i want a glass of water, but i need to go down 2 floors and walk for 45 minutes to get it" that's no fun.

I doubt it takes long to sell this home. Not too bad a price to start negotiations with. Beautifully done, and not over the top like I've seen other apartments in videos. Even the street isn't exceptionally crazy which to me is a good quiet point

William Bleeker property tax is common in Europe too. Yes you pay an annual tax (usually less than 1% of the value) even if you bought the house cash or you have a mortgage.
But it depends on the state/city....some better managed cities choose to not tax properties.
