Ryan Serhant began his first day in the real estate business on September 15, 2008 - the same day that Lehman Brothers filed for bankruptcy in the wake of the subprime mortgage collapse. While the real estate sector has steadily recovered, Serhant himself has quickly become one of the most successful brokers in the world, with agents under his leadership in New York City, Los Angeles, Miami and the Hamptons. The Serhant Team has been named by WSJ Real Trends as the #1 real estate team in New York for two years in a row, and the #2 team in the country, selling close to $1 billion in real estate last year. Ryan is consistently the youngest broker to make the Journal’s top ten list each year.
Ryan stars in the popular Bravo series “Million Dollar Listing New York,” which just wrapped its seventh season. On September 18, 2018 - the week of his 10-year anniversary in real estate - he will debut his first book, Sell It Like Serhant. When pre-sales were announced, Ryan was #1 on Amazon’s daily list of “Movers and Shakers.” As star and producer, this year he also debuted his new Bravo show, "Sell It Like Serhant," started a successful vlog ( / ryanserhant ) and launched an app (Agent Empire: NYC). There is nothing Ryan can't do. His motto communicates his professional and personal philosophy, "Expansion. Always. In all ways."
You know you've watched too many of these videos when you think that 18 million is a pretty cheap price.
But when reality punches you in the face, its alot more than you think.
LOL you are absolutely right!
Seems like its great value for the package you are getting
Sisi & Kiki right seems doable.
Yes
No one ever values the fact his camera man always avoids mirrors no matter how unlikely the shot. I love that professional level camera work. This is cinematography
Plot twist: it's a ghost with a ghostly camera.
ruclips.net/video/5wAsEZFCwfw/видео.html
Perhaps it also has a lot to do with editing. Just saying.
I hate to point out that the camera man is seen in the reflection of the garage opening but its still excellent work all the same. I think this mansion is awesome so I've seen it more then once Serhant didn't even have the time to show the hot tub on the other side of the roof but that is just how much this mansion has to offer. Its been down priced from around 36 million a few years back.
Aaron Monroe that is what I was thinking
For 2023, it’s hard to nail down specific predictions for the housing market is because it’s not yet clear how quickly or how much the Federal Reserve can bring down inflation and borrowing costs without tanking buyer demand for everything from homes to cars.
@Craig Daniels yes, transportation, e-commerce among other sectors are expected to experience growth, but who knows, the market has been a basket of surprises.
@Craig Daniels Such market uncertainties are the reason I don’t base my market judgements and decisions on rumours and here-says, got the best of me 2020 and had me holding worthless position in the market, I had to revamp my entire portfolio through the aid of an advisor, before I started seeing any significant results happens in my portfolio, been using the same advisor and I’ve scaled up 750k within 2 years, whether a bullish or down market, both makes for good profit, it all depends on where you’re looking.

If i was living there, each day I'd be like:
"So which bathroom am I going to use today?"
Same. I'd be sleeping anywhere. Even on the floor without bed, just take one bedsheet and a pillow. 😂 😂 😂
this 18 million home looks better that most 80 million apartments he show us.
Lol
apartments and home are different
You’re 1000 percent right about that.
I think the issue is that the unit is too-close to ground level hence the price point
No views and it's too-close to ground level hence the price point
I’m more impressed by 4:35 than I am the house. Managing to stay out of the shot while walking with Ryan is impressive.
Omw, you're right! That's pretty cool!
Thats not a mirror lol
@@dv9239 Of course they are. Just look at 3:43
I just commented the same thing!! Hahaha
Giraffe Man I’m aware. I do the same thing for work, doesn’t mean that the shot isn’t impressive.
All I keep thinking about is cleaning this place.
Allan Aitch If someone bought this house they would prob have enough to get a cleaning person
if you are able to buy this house then you aren't someone who is going to be cleaning it.
All I can think is who is carrying the dishes up from the kitchen to the formal dining room?

Only in NYC would you describe a glass-enclosed cage as an "outdoor space" 😆😆😆😆
It had a roof because of the outdoor space above it and I guess the designer enclosed it for elegance.
It also rains like ALOT in NYC so I consider it outdoors lol
European and asians houses are the same
Right ! Right !
Can we talk about how they filmed him walking in front of mirrors and didn’t get the camera guy in the shot? Nicely done guys.
Walked at the same pace with him. Probably shot a bunch of times.
4:35 yup
You can see the camera guy at 1:05 when the door goes up
Michael Freeze 😂👍
8:33 you can see him on left corner
I could never understand why a house have more than twice the amount of bathroom than it does bedrooms...
It only makes sense when hosting a party. If you have 100 people hanging out there, you need bathrooms.
Agreed
So that when they have a party, people can play hide and ...
And parking for 1....
Uani P lmao, I’m always baffled by the same thing. They could make the bedrooms bigger by eliminating some bathrooms.
I can secretly live in the house without him realising😁😁
akhilesh chaturvedi Laughing at your own comment? Are you okay???
@@racheldoesyoutube1419 I am okay dear
We all could hide in a bathroom..lol

6:46 he really had the chance to say "let that sink in" and didn't use it smh
Yeah, he should have put it back IN and say let that "sink" IN.
Brian 3 indeed hahaha
4:35 😎 Nobody is mentioning how IMPRESSIVE this camera shot is. Literally no camera man visible in the mirror.
I know people usually don't like the clean cut or cold vibe of expensive houses, but I actually find them very home-like. It's not the look that makes a house a home, it's the feeling.

See that’s a town house that is worth the price
Exactly. Actually expected double price!
@@ralphangel561 it used to be double price. It's been on the market for awhile and started at like $32M I believe. It's finally priced to sell!
Jake Payne yeah I was like why is this so cheappp. Usually he shows us a pent house worth more. After seeing this I was like wtf I was expecting 20-30 mil. Very good price but I'm wondering why nobody was buying it??
i second that
market woes
This one, I only liked the movie theater. Other than that, this is more like a party house/airbnb type of place.
no
This place is out of this world amazing. My favorite so far and rather affordable compared to other properties he’s shown us.
10% of the price is the whole house with the complete interior
90% is the location right next to Papa Kebap
@El Bottoo. 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂
@El Bottoo I know right? Everyone in the hotel next door can see into that Lady Gaga bathroom and onto the rooftop lol
The whole place feels like an office, especially with the elevator...
Very true. It impresses, but I would not want to live there.
It’s an amazing house but I would like to buy my dream home ! It doesn’t feel like home to me !

I think it has been an office
The host of program is bravo! The interior of the apartment is very cold and resembles a standard hotel. It is clear why no one lives there. The only beautiful and lively place - a terrace.
imagine living there by yourself i’d be overwhelmed from all this
Imagine bathroom cleaning day..😫
This is one of the few listings in NYC I have witnessed, that actually makes full use of that price tag, instead of ridiculous profit margins in so many of these overpriced properties.
"HUGE BACKYARD, PERFECT INDOOR OUTDOOR LIVING" me: laughs in countryside
It’s not over priced if it’s in nyc
@@dhundupdorjee5686 for 18 mil i rather buy a mansion with forests

Rather live in a little cottage with a garden
Laughs in homeless
When he said “let’s go to the dining room”...didn’t you just show us like 3 dining areas already?
I think two. One would be the casual dining or breakfast noon and the other was an outdoor dining.
That 2.80 million dollar house he done was amazing
Ryan is a breath of fresh air among real estate agents
"lady gaga was the only person to actually ever stay in this house" when was this built then? makes me wonder how much of new york is actually empty because of empty expensive houses and apartments like this that are on the market
pv if I was spending that much money I wouldn’t buy something sitting I’d build exactly what I wanted.
pv New York's vacancy rate is actually quite small. Most of the houses are full.
@@shadowefeX No doubt, but the ultra pricey livingspaces actually seem empty most of the time.
It's because it use to be something else, I think two units, and someone bought the whole building recently and made it like that.
@@EdgarAragonPeligro ah okay makes sense!
why does every mansion look and feel like a cold and uncomfortable business waiting room
after you settle in you can make it feel like a warm home. If you haven't lived in a mansion before, it's hard to associate that to a cozy home.
I live in a pretty big home and when we moved it was very uncofterable. We have lived there for 15 years and it feels so warm. We is15 bed

Because usually the ones that own these places are the same ones that talk about climate change. What's good for me is not what the masses should be doing, cold don't you think?
Wow I walked passed this apartment plenty of times while I was working at dream hotel and I never would’ve thought it was this big.
Never imagine a place like this, just perfect
4:40 - not enough people appreciate this shot. Great camera work there! (with the mirrors) Great effect.
No it's simple, the cameraman is a vampire
Ryan: "Look at this view."
Me: What view???
It is a very cold atmosphere. I love tiny houses and living with new life of Jesus 😊
It's gorgeous but I feel the need to put a sweater on just watching this.
I love how he sells a house
true. he gat me believing i can actually afford it......i mean 18 million....thats a steal right? lol.
It can get annoying

The profesionalism of Serhant team is insane. Impecable presentation Ryan, keep doing what you do best.
Sure don’t feel like a home specially when everything is in different floors.

Combined with a sympathic realtor. Of course this gonna be successful!
I am curious, what do you mean, dude?
WOW it’s looks cold and empty 😢 beautiful but looks lonely!
These kind of houses can never be homes. Like if you understand
This house has been on the market for at least 3 years. Used to be close to $40M lol
Lol😂😂😂 I wonder why???
Because it's across the street from the projects and a few night clubs.
How about the water damage?
Ahmed Al Seiare disagree the House is perfect
@Ahmed Al Seiare Super house, but the colors is awful, and the bathroom is tasteless. [my 2cents]
1:11 love that guy Yuri in the Ferrari he reminds me of Gru from Despicable Me!
Ponyo oooohh just made the connection. You’re spot on. I need him to say “little gorls” 😂😂😂
i just love Ryan so much. His energy is addicting
Ohhhhhhh MMMMM Geeeeee. I would bow and say a prayer before entering my kitchen every morning. Literally would drop to my knees and bow.
This lovely home doesnt get the love it deserves. Been on the market for a while and had so much price cuts. Under the Serhant team, hopefully there can be an owner who pick this up!
I've definitely seen this place in another video before, but I couldn't tell because Ryan did such a better job at showing the place off.
I am tired even watching it , can't imagine walking so much in my home hahahaha
Fatass. 😂 😂 😂
It's such things that inspire me to work hard and soon afford my self a life of prestige.
Way the best tour so far. Love everything about it for once, feels cozy, luxury, at the same time!
Keep selling like Serhant! I could use two islands - next time you come to LA can you find me an epic kitchen to film in?
this my favorite house tour ever. so beautiful
Love Ryan and the show. Without a doubt, the BEST apartment I've EVER seen.
$30M asking to $18M asking over 2 years has to hurt for the owner
tn15 asking since 2015!!!!!
Annie Ko it was purchased for $9.35M in 2015, then presumably renovated, and listed for resale at $29.5M in 2/2018.
I work in a building directly behind this house. My coworkers and I stare into it regularly. It’s not private, so it is not an ideal location at all if you want to have privacy or seclusion. And it’s pretty but seems cramped. Not surprised the owner is struggling to sell
@@VainXavier246 - Thats what I was thinking
@@VainXavier246i have heard New York is a shithole?
"No one in their right mind would build a townhouse like this......". Exactly.
Amazing place, soon I´ll be speaking with Ryan to get my townhouse in NY
This is the most beautiful home I have ever seen. Wow.
After watching a few RE listings I genuinely appreciate Ryan’s enthusiasm and his camera/AV crew...
Goodness gracious man! I have seen a lot of properties said to be worth millions in NYC, but that place is DEFINITELY worth whatever price they are asking for. Masterfully done. It doesn't have any ugly or wack designs, everything is functional and purposeful. A built in garage is genius.
great job presenting this amazing property in NYC
So many Homeless people fit into this house
Top rooftop of the building was the sickest part, pretty insane place though!
I’m going to buy that house one day 🌟 Who’s coming for the moving in party?

My favorite part was easily all the tiny fixtures that just made it so beautiful, from the lights to the finishing touches it was all beautiful.

A vigorous nation learns that things can be better. Thanks, Ryan. Now, if we could just watch you get serious.

18 million Dollars for bathrooms with shower curtains
@El Bottoo Maybe you could afford them if you wouldn't be here replying to a comment on RUclips and actually working towards your goals instead.
@El Bottoo eh, if you really wanted, and waited, you could.
@@Kimsen1 same too you, buddy.
@El Bottoo Aaaaand that's exactly why you can't afford it. This mentality is insanely detrimental.
Hahaaa , right Sir !
Feels like 18 Million is a fair price
@rocknroller1999 well said. reminds me of office space and doesn't feel very home-like at all.
@rocknroller1999 yup, I know a relative of mine who is a self made man & he is insanely rich yet he lives in a very normal middle class 2000 sq feet of house, his kids use public transportation & they started to work at the age of 13. His kids probably have no idea how rich their Dad is.
Ye must buy a couple .
@rocknroller1999 i feel the same, but this is in NYC, it's huge has a garage and pool. Also people who can afford such a house probably have a second/third one.
@rocknroller1999 I agree, but I wouldnt mind having this as a getaway spot to visit every now and then
I love the video and the house, but come on, is that backyard really "massive"?
For new york??? Yes.
For Manhattan? Absolutely. I’ll put money down that 98% of people who live in Manhattan of people don’t have a balcony or backyard.
@Justin Pullin what the fuck
Only people that value nyc especially manhattan life could understand
Manhattan? Hell yeah
Amazing presentation as always, Ryan! And great house! boom! Love this stuff! Yeah, as everyone mentioned, the camera work is over the top professional with no sarcasm, props to Your team and the camera operator!
Fireplace and the bathroom were my favorites! Thanks Ryan 😃
