    I wonder if you have any tips for comping multiple takes with both DI and amp-processed sound. Right now I just record both, then I have to manually keep track of which track I select on the amped track, and then select the same take on DI. (I use Reaper)

    issue i run into is my other tracks somehow end up running through my axefx when reamping. i wanna adjust my tone in the mix but my drums, vocals etc all end up having the effects from the axefx on those tracks

    Hi is it possible to record effects like delay reverb at the same time on separate track? it’s great when you can mix them if the delay is to loud or to small…???

      No, not at the same time. But you could always re-amp them separately for later mixing. Thanks for asking!

    Question, I don’t use DAW. My axe fx 3 is hooked directly to power cabs so how will re-amping help with my set up?

    • @DougBsDigitalDen
      @DougBsDigitalDen  2 года назад +1

      Re-amping is only useful when recording.

      @@DougBsDigitalDen Thats what I thought as well but I have had people in the forum before tell me to re amp when i was having an issue with the sound sounded like a blanket over the speakers,

    setting the axe as the interface is such the wimpy way to do it... not to mention its going to change everything when you lop off that 30k interface hard to match with drums etc that nice spanky dream tone will train crash the track and redo redo................. yuck I had high hopes for this vid

      Ummm... okay, but the point of the video was to use the Axe-Fx III for re-amping. Not sure what you were expecting, but thanks for the comment!

      I bet you could create an aggregate device so you have access to the USB in and outs of the Axe and not change Logic settings.

      @@robomalo I always enjoy Doug's videos, but yeah, that's how I do it too. I have an aggregate device with my UAD Apollo and my AxeFX III. This is, I think, just a Mac thing though. I'm not sure you can make aggregate devices on PCs. So Doug was being more general which can be good.
