So what does high purge flow mean?

Changed purge valve solenoid on 2011 colorado. Code on still. Also changed gas cap, etc.. Haven't changed vent valve, is that possibly the cause? P0496

Yeah this code popped up on my scanner and i got an engine yellow light on too

I changed mine with brand new one but the code won’t get cleared after , it’s day permanent . I tested the new one and it’s work properly but the code don’t want to go away .

I’m having the same problem. Did you ever figure out what was causing the code not to clear?

Did you replace your gas cap and or check the hoses going to the solenoid for cracks or breaks?

Have this problem with my 2011 silverado, replaced the solenoid twice, still gives me the same error.
