    Just wanted to let you know your videos are still helping younger gun owners 10 years later. Planning to buy this same charging handle for my 10/22 build and am confident I’ll be able to install it thanks to you. Thank you for the excellent content sir!

    Nice install! your becoming a pro, I love that you show the full vid with no edits, I don't think I ever changed something out without having a few bumps
    (or bangs) in the road, wait till I put up my gas block install vid, I had to break out a power drill!

    This is a whole new meaning to "Torture to watch, and using a srewdriver to pry out the bolt is down tight painful, plus it looks like the receiver and bolt never had any lube.

    Hey, the white one is actually the standard weight spring, while the unmarked spring is the lighter one for subs. Or it was in mine anyway. They list them in the instructions. Thanks for the video!

    Nice work. Now you have me wanting one. I replaced the hammer with a Volquartsen unit and that really helped with the horrendous trigger pull weight that mine had from the factory. Thanks for sharing.

  • @TheCrewchief01

    It can hardly be and uncle Chuck vid without the hammer. Kidd makes some great aftermarket parts for the 10/22.

  • @SKarlsson
    @SKarlsson 11 лет назад

    I purchased a bunch of Kidd stuff a few months back. Stainless match barrel, charging handle, bolt buffer. Also purchased a Boyd's Tacticool stock. She does indeed shoot like a dream now. But she's a heavy girl now- should have known with that match barrel! Though I was a bit skeptical after installing all that after-market stuff- she shot really well and I'm a happy camper :^)

    Once you pull the bolt handle all the way all you need to do is turn the receiver over and the bolt should drop right out. Do not try to take the bolt out at an angle. Same when you put it back... straight in.. NO angle.. Peace out :)

      Thanks for sharing. You'll love it even if it is a bit of a hassle at times to install. While you have it apart you might as well use some 400 grit and sand the bolt and receiver and polish it up little with a chrome mag polish like Mothers. It'll make the action smoother.

    Do you use WD40 to lube your rifle? It leaves a lacquer coating when it dries and gums up pins and other thing in the action. It is a water dispersement not a lubricant. Worked in a gun shop and people would bring in old guns that had a red tint to internals. They would say my gun don't work no more. I'd say you use WD40 don't you. Thank God we had a ultra sonic cleaning tank.
