I’m Andrew Jensen, a former full time touring professional that played on PGA TOUR Canada, Latinoamerica and almost every North American based mini tour since 2008. I want to use my playing experience to inspire golfers to improve their own game and have more fun with this amazing game we play!
Made the same mistake with getting a cheap $100 projector. Definitely recommend getting a short throw projector. I ended up getting a refurbished BenQ MW632ST for $500 and it has been great!
Adding that padding should definitely help. Love the layout and simplicity of this sim. Nice

Andrew what is your ceiling height and what size simulator did you buy,was it the 8x10x5 and is the 5ft come out to much and interfere with your swing , is 4ft or 3ft better ,I’m interested nice presentation,and I’m looking at carls place also.or do you have a discount code for your channel.cause to keep your channel going that way you receive credit
My ceiling height is just over 9ft in the garage. The dimensions are the 7.7x10 DIY enclosure. Carl's Place can step you through finding out the best depth for your space. Im moving into a new house being built now. We added a 3rd car garage with 10 foot ceilings so I will be building out a whole simulator space. Right now I just have a net and mat with an R10 casting to a tv. Cant wait to put together a full enclosure with a screen and projector. Going to make winters a lot more fun!

Really like how that setup looks, would really like to get one its just not in the budget at this time, nor do I have the space either, hope yours's works great
You will need to spend a good bit more money on a projector. The one that comes with the Foresight package is not that much money and 6000 lumens. Downside is its only 1080p. You will need a $1500-$2500 gaming PC to run the software well depending on what resolution you want to run.
I just wish custom sizes weren't so expensive. I also don't need/want the 5ft deep enclosure but to get 2 or 3ft, it adds a bunch of 💰
What size enclosure did you get and which screen did you choose? Are you happy with the screen quality? About to buy one from Carls as well!
I got the 7.7x10 with the premium screen. Quality of everything is 💯
Can you share where you got your cubbies for storage. They look perfect for my sim area.

I noticed in the first video you had the raised pad of cement along the back wall of the garage but it appears to no longer be there? Roughly 3" tall probably about 3ft from the wall
Also what size enclosure did you end up going with im working with the exact same space and was debating running it long way or sideways.
No structural changes were made to my garage in this video. Any concrete you noticed was just the way it came from the builder.

Important question: How high are your ceilings? They look pretty low?
9ft ceilings in the house, so just over 9ft in the garage

What kind of turf did you cover the floor with? And can you putt on it?
It’s just “turf carpet” from Home Depot. Comes in 6x8 rolls… you could putt on it but it wouldn’t be very true
Great video. Wondering, how many bungees you used for bounce back and did you use any of the longer bungees that came with the kit?

I started with all the holes bungeed, either the standard bungee. I believe I’ve only removed two from the middle/bottom to get the right amount for my space

I have been thinking of attempting a set up like this is my garage...what is your ceiling height? Can you comfortably swing every club up to driver?
My ceiling is between 9-10ft, and yes, can comfortably swing driver

This is a pretty standard 2 car garage with roughly 10ft ceilings. The enclosure I got is the 7.7x10

Very nice work with Carl's! What's your ceiling height compared to your own height? Working on building a setup in our garage. I found the projector ahead of the build, purchasing one from the major university's surplus store when they changed some out, snagging a $3,000 EPSON for just $100. It's a little older but it's full HD and the picture is amazing, with replacement bulbs under $100 as well.

Around 9-10ft. You need at least 8ft of flight for Mevo+ to register indoor readings
