I was wondering if you could do a pure Demolitionist build guide No other spec in the build or if you have one i can't find it. Relatively new to GD and was wondering if I could put in a recommendation for the next viewers choice a mage hunter you talked about making classes and leveling them up it would really mean a lot if you would consider this mastery combo it’s probably a bad combo but I think it would be interesting. If you have the time I know your a very busy person and maybe you have already done a mage hunter guide and I didn’t see it I searched for a mage hunter build I don’t think you made one but I’m not 100% sure, thank you so much if you consider this as an option thank you and keep up the great work.
Thanks for the request and you’re in luck because I have a Mage Hunter almost ready for the first build-guide video (it’s the character I’m using in this video) - using minimal active skills and based on a ‘bullet hell shmup’ concept but without guns. 👊🙂
Well, I've gotten back to it. I think Friday night or Saturday morning I deleted all my old toons and started fresh. I created a two-hand ranged weapon toting Necromancer. It's Sunday night and time for me to start winding down because I have work tomorrow, and I just killed Warden Krieg. The neat thing is that this is the first time I've ever killed him and my character has not died at all. WOW!!! Now If I can clear out those Zealots off to the side and completely clear the starting area without dying I'll be smiling like I'm up to something. Later.
It's in 1080. I'm checking it full screen on an average size monitor and I can read all the small text (without my reading glasses!). What device(s) are you watching on, and have you manually chosen the resolution as it might have defaulted to 360 or some other weird setting?
Yes, definitely - it’s next on the list but I want to get it to a decent level (mid-80s probably) before doing any kind of build/levelling guide. Thanks for the interest 👊🙂
And as I suspected the "Blade of Cthon" or whatever he's called killed me without problem. I got killed again later by another overpowered boss as well. Let the lesson be: "When you have minions, send them in and hang back yourself". But I've now gotten further with the game than I have with any other character. I'm now enroute to secure the farmlands. I've never played it quite that far before.
Oh yeah, Salazar can be one of those shock moments as he appears during what is technically still Act 1 but he has a couple of very nasty attacks and he’s almost certainly going to catch you out if you’re a fairly new player and you go in there either unlevelled, unprepared or both 👊😜
@@Arcadelife1 I thought I was prepared. I only played really solid for a month when I first got the game, then I went heavy into Titan Quest. Now I'm back. I figured since I survived the Warden, I could survive Salazar. NNNNOOOOOOOO!!!! I think I'll just never go to Salazar again until I've got much better gear and many more levels.
Some tidbits are very useful even for experienced players. Thank you very much for this.

I always enjoy hearing the war stories from Grim Dawn; the first deathless Krieg fight is a solid achievement 👊🙂

Choose high resolution. I had to do the same thing.
