Thank you for your detailed beginner guide. After playing Diablo Immortal for 2 days I realised I had this hidden gem in my steam library. Haven't played in years.. So this video was perfect for someone like me! Like and subbed.
Thanks for the updated guide. Few years ago i play the basic game.. and few days ago i bought the definitive editions... (there is a huge discount now in steam if anyone interested, 6-7-2022)
Pretty good stuff. One thing to mention is that you can beat the game on normal with pretty shit build so there's no pressure. I beat this game like 4 times and every time I only realize my mistakes and how to make my build only after the base game final boss. Also very much DO NOT play with only one class - this will make the game 10x harder despite having more points to distribute. Also I'd argue that melee class is better for the beginner because with range your character can just walk straight into the middle of the enemies if you missclick.
Hi guys, Just started ... wanted to know is it important to max out the bottom bar of your skill tree first? as i have seen in videos most have done so?? i have just maxed out skills then move down to the bottom to advance..someones advice would be appreciated thanx.
I would only recomend to max the bottom bar if you able to "boost" yourself. If you brand new, do as you said, advance from the bottom and up. You can always respec at later points like at lvl 30 to just fill the bar instead then.
How much time do i need to spend looking at grimtools for this game? Personally when im gaming i want everything i need to have fun to be inside the game, rather than referring to external tools.
It all depends on what goals you have, if you want to just complete the storyline you could probably go blind, if you want to push for endgame it can be good to look up a endgame set. For examle so you know what classes it synergize with as not set pices for all class combos
I have tried this game and level a character to 35. Then I lost interest maybe because I didn't know a lot about this game and what I was doing. Went back to D3, Last Epoch and currently playing POE. But somehow, I really like to explore this game. Installing it again while writing my comment. I just want to be able to explore this game more and maybe be able to really appreciate it coz a lot of people really has so much good things to say about this game. I am now exploring other builds since I will probably start a new character. Any suggestions in mind? Thanks again
The game can feel slow at first, ones you get to 50 you will start to get uniques and at that point you will start to get build changing items. There are alot of things to do in the end game. Dungeons to unlock, challanges to complete. There are alot of hidden paths and bosses to unlock aswell. One of the cool things about the game! But overall i think you will enjoy the game more after you get to 50 and also to the next difficulty. Also have you tried hardcore?:)
@@gringogaming0 Thanks for the inputs. I created a necro shaman build. Funny thing is currently at POE that is my strongest build. Skeleton Mages Necromancer. And same thing in Grim Dawn. I still want to try a lot of different builds. So far what annoyed me awhile ago while playing was when i died, I had to get back to where I was. It respawned me at Devils crossing and i had to go back to where i died trying to kill a boss. Level 14 at the moment
@@reynaldbatul2259 minion builds can be quite hard when you get to higher levels, you will need to get some decent gear😅 at early stage they just own everything😃👍
@@reynaldbatul2259 deathknight is a really Great starter build👍 i made a showcase video about it if you would like to check it out👍 you can easy target farm the endgame set that you will use for it😃
Yeah you right you could, it was not ment to be like you only could play as a melee playstyle if younpaly the soldier but more to get a Quick summery of the mastery.
Whats the best way to level? just going to new areas and killing mobs? I started playing today and dont understand where to go for quest or if to just keep advancing through the zones forgetting the quests
If you all new to the game, just do quests and killing elites is the way to go! There is 3 diffrent dificultys to unlock, ones you complete the first you unlock the second etc. What I usaly do is to focus on the main story line the first two difficulties and ones im at ultimate i just clear all quests i see😄👍
I'm even more confused. If you're a veteran ARPG player I think it's a good guide. But if you're a newbie to the game and the genre then sorry but it helps little.
@@gringogaming0 no its not ,only for me cuz i live in Sweden and you swedish guys have that problem with the letter J when u need to say just or jungle or any other word with J .For example you cant say just u need to prounance it like the first letter of the word cheese.
I'm sure this is really useful but its not an absolute beginners guide. I'm 5 mins in and you haven't explained what the point of the game is. What is the goal and is there some kind of narative set up that's pushing a player to play...
What could be the point of a Diablo-like ARPG? Hm? You seem to lack basic understanding regarding this genre. Or you’re jusr another chumps who’s searching for something to cry about.
Not in this game u don't need the other attributes other then for weapon requirements to equip, every guide u look at tells u to pump it all into the health one (forgot the name of it) only putting into others if gear requirements can't be reached with just the mastery bars
Thumbs down! Starts talking about respec. OK good to know. But does not explain at all how to use that menu when you choose a class. Points will not even go into anything.

Filling out bottom bar while using 1 main skill allows you access to 1 of the ultimate skills for the mastery
Veteran mode does not increase loot drops its only 10% exp which is not worth it as it just slows down the early game.
As a newbie, I cannot seem to find a short and direct answer to "Should I buy weapons/armor from NPC as a new player or save my money?"
I would say save it for later! Some items from factions can be worth buying from 👍
Thank you!
Glad you liked it!😃

How do you figure out where to go for the quests? I dont see a quest tab or anything on the map
Some quests are hidden and acually have to be read or just figured out👍
There is a quest log button where you can read active and completed tasks.
Veteran doesn't do anything for loot just gives mobs more hp and 10% more exp
You right, but with the increase in the spawn rate of champion and hero monsters you will notice an increase in the amount of loot that drops.
Thanks buddie 👍🏾

The point is to get more LOOT!!!!
This a looter rpg wdym narrative
You find about all that as soon as you start. You follow the story... and strive to build a stronger character
lol what ARPGs have always been about killing things and looting them
There is no chance that only one attribute is useful in the game lol. That is HORRIBLE advice.

It's not too hard to imagine. It's like how in D2 you mostly dump points into vitality and do the bare minimum in str/dex for equipping gear.
Not really a 'guide' as much as some loose facts and tips.

can barely understand the narrator
