@@BlackSabbahattinn I’m assuming one mastery is occultist. Just do this - ruclips.net/video/z2zeKrlcQts/видео.html until you get that weapon, then decide what works best. Buff acid/poison any way you can and get the offhand from early FG to convert pox to acid damage.

@@michaeltrull5788 If you want ‘the best’ retaliation build, go for the acid sentinel or physical warlord. The Oathkeeper has inbuilt retaliation-added-to-attack skills and there is also specific gear for doing this that works best with Oathkeeper as one of the masteries. This is important because some enemies are very hard to kill (or even damage at all) with just retaliation damage and you need to actually attack them with ‘an attack’ to be able to kill them. Personally, I really like the retal commando and I can tolerate not being able to kill Kubacabra (for example) because this build has the eventual capability of killing a serious superboss like Callagadra by just standing there.

@@XuroX. It has Blood of Dreeg, where the 2nd node (Aspect of the Guardian) gives over +100% acid/poison res. As you spotted, i's not permanently up.

@@michaeltrull5788 Pox and Sigil would work, but then it depends how far you want it to work. Clearing normal, easy, but then any combination of skills (with moderate gear support) will clear normal. Sigil has life-leech (as far as I remember without checking) so that’s a plus, and I think you’d need to lean heavily into vitality damage on both skills. The combination of Pox and Evil eye works well due to the conversion of vitality damage to acid on Pox which means I only have to buff one damage type plus its damage-over-time variant (acid/poison).

It’s because I’m not doing a recognised ‘normal’ build such as a retaliation sentinel (Occultist + Oathkeeper) which has legendary set support but involves creating a build that follows particular guidelines. If you have a legendary set that you want to use (any legendary set) you’re probably going to have to tailor your build to get the most out of that set. The way I’ve done this build is to look at two attack skills (Pox and Evil Eye) and then target the ‘easy’ items that are the best at buffing one or both of those skills. For me, for the purposes of providing builds anyone can easily replicate, I’d rather use target-farmable MIs than say “You will need X legendary set for this to work the best”. Of course, I’m starting a pistol Pyro build guide series that says “You will need the Darkblaze legendary set for this to work the best” so I’m erratic at best 👊😂

@@XuroX. It’s personal choice. If you have any reservations about losing gear or other aspects of permanently losing a character, don’t play hardcore. It’s an interesting challenge and I like using hardcore for builds I know well (such as this one) in guide videos because one of the best things to be able to tell viewers is “This character can do [whatever] in hardcore, so it’s definitely strong whether you decide to play hardcore or not” - something like that anyway. There’s no ‘big fascination’ with hardcore in my opinion, just an additional level of challenge for anyone daft enough to want it 😂

@@XuroX. Maybe. After reading this comment, I imagined what the game would be like if I used evade most of the time to move around and my first thought was I’d find it nauseating and then I thought the majority of comments on videos would be complaints about me constantly evading 😂

@@Arcadelife1 Actually you are correct. And in the movie version of "Tommy" she played THE ACID QUEEN!!!! As to my character, she got killed about a half hour ago when getting close to 55. I'm continuing to play her though. She just got Crimson's Vile Scepter. I had to run her up to 55 to use it. She's now over 30K damage per cast of DEE.

@@Arcadelife1 This one in the same dungeon as Sister Crimosn. I went in a second time to see if I could get a better scepter (I did) and there was a random totem. I activated it and started the fight. At least one maybe more of the bosses that spawned were HELLA powerful. I was maybe a bit dragging as well. I could have been more awake. I usually try to stop before I get that tired but when I'm having a good time.... So all my fault. Taking a break from her now and going to create a dual pistol wielding Inquisitor just for fun. Gotta come up with a name though...

I couldn't leave her alone. So I took her to the end of FORGOTTEN GODS. And she got killed 5 more times. Only 3 to start, but that 3rd was at the same moment that Korvaak died and the game wouldn't let me open the loot chests when I came back. So I exited to the main menu and came back having to kill my way to him again. And then she died the final two times. And the loot in the chests wasn't really worth it. Please make a vid on killing Korvaak. I have no idea what the hell is going on. I'm so busy running away from everything he's dealing I barely have time to attack.

@@WoundChannel. Yup. Start with fire damage, morph into chaos damage later. Bloodsworn pistols all the way, until you get a good random chaos pistol legendary much later.

@Arcadelife1 I've got the full set of (marauders I think), it works really well. I hit level 30 in one day with this build. And it's so fun to play!

@@WoundChannel. It’s a decent start for a variety of builds. I will obviously be going with Occultist 2nd mastery and eventually full chaos damage with 2 pistols and (while levelling) quite a few points in Doom Bolt because of the direct buffs to that skill from the Bloodsworn pistols. There’s a lot of farming at specific locations for chaos monster-infrequent gear but that’s all part of the fun in my opinion.

@@jasonatherton8251 Yeah he’s one of those bosses who will just dump everything on you if you stand in one place. I’m not saying you stood in one place, but if you did then it’s 99.9% what killed you. Also his tentacles are just ****s and will gladly smack you while you think you’re maintaining a safe distance. As with much of the game, a bit of practice and build focus will eventually get you through - I’ve spent way too many hours in the game and I have a vague idea what’s going on 👊😜

@@sonnguyenhung1084 Attribute points are 1 per level. There are also some extra attribute points available as quest rewards. A solid recommendation is to put the majority into physique to raise your defensive ability, health and health regen while only using points in cunning and spirit if they’re needed to equip gear. Personally, I would also recommend putting 5-10 points into Spirit early on, maybe as your first 5-10 level-ups so you don’t struggle with energy regen. Those recommendations would be for any mastery/build.

@@MagpieMcGraw Yeah, thanks, I’ve started putting points into it - character is a bit further on now than it is at the end of the video. Vindictive Flame is a very good skill, doing all those different buffs to various very useful elements. To be honest, I know how the character is going to end up and I’m really just being a total casual on my way there because it’s softcore, not that this is any reason or excuse not to do things the best way 👊😜

@@travissullivan6575 Hi mate! Yeah, I’m certainly not doing Vet for the xp. I do mention near the start of the vid I’m doing it so when this character is easily annihilating everything at the end of Vet (it will be 😜) I won’t be deceiving myself by playing in Normal and I’ll know it has the power to face Ultimate with no issues.

I started a new character in ultimate and got level 94 right before Korvaak.
