- So many reasons to bypass Elite and go directly to Ultimate from Normal/Veteran.
I am somewhat successful in my attempt to explain and demonstrate it in this video.

The 'stun' icon on page 1 represents Physical resistance after the latest patch, the actual stun res stat is on page 3 under something like 'tag not found', I believe it's a bug that comes from using rainbow filter with the latest patch, so your 9% is actually Phys res, nice vid 👍👍
Thanks, I suspected it was me being stupid.
It's a bug caused by not updating Rainbow filter. I had to update the files both in /documents and also in /program files, which was the first time I'd had to do that.

Oh wow didn't knew you get compensated in ultimate (ref skill and attrib quests). Been thinking at skipping elite alltogether ever since I noticed I can. Ty for the vid!

I have not skipped Elite thus far on any of my characters. Need to try that. Getting resistances right became an armor try mini-game.
That is physical resist. Stun resist is moved to 3rd tab in the latest patch. They reworked the physical damage in the latest update.

Going into ultimate with 970 armour and 50 skill points to spend!! John you have a knack of cracking me up. The master of John's evil eye is back at it!. I'm doing a vitality Ravenous Earth thingy right (magi hood) now but my next build will be fire Dreeg's Evil John. A new difficulty in Asterkarn?? Wow didn't know this. It's prob going to be something like SR scaling up with yr character until yr character can't take ne more, cool! I've been playing this since beta and still it amazes me how they keep finding ways to reivent the game (sorta). Great game, great content maker also. Also looking forward to yr promise that yr next charactr won't be an Ocultist or an Inquisitor. Do I hear Nightblade🤣? That's a definite challenge for ya,facetank build.🤐😫
Yeah, I want to do something weird with bleed damage without relying on some other damage to compensate. Might survive Normal... ;)
Hey! Is there a specific end game gear set with 4-5 pieces, for example, for this build? Or its just the gear you have now?
@@costas1010 That’s a good question… As soon as I reach 100 (optimism running high) I will do a video on second masteries. I’ve been saving the skill points since level 65 so I can demonstrate examples of where those points could be used in a selection of second mastery options. I should also look at gear sets that could be used although the current weapon and offhand items are likely going to be the best unless something significant is changed for damage skills.
The information in these videos is always going to be suggestions and recommendations, the final decision for players is always going to be down to what I’d call ‘informed personal choice’ 👊🙂
@@Arcadelife1 i think there must be a set based on poison, acid damage , also good Eye skill buff, but don't remember the name. I think I have the chest piece in my stash
@@costas1010 The Vileblade Pact set converts Pox to acid with the full set equipped but you lose the direct buffs to Evil Eye - it’s more for a dual-wield melee build than a caster. There’s a legendary offhand Mythical Wretched Tome of Nar’Adin that does the acid conversion to Pox and also has buffs for Evil Eye so that’s probably ‘the best’ offhand unless you get a level 94 Vile Effigy with crazy affixes.
@@costas1010Regarding that Mythical Wretched Tome of Nar’Adin, it will definitely be the best offhand due to the vitality-to-acid conversion for both Pox AND Evil Eye - I checked because I did not know about that. It also gives +1 to all Occultist skills and has high acid and poison damage buffs. Looks like it’s a random drop blueprint that cannot be vendor farmed so if you get one, have a party 🥳
