You are an amazing artist! Your explanation of what you are doing is truly clear and very helpful. Also, thank you for placing the reference photo on screen, as it adds to the quality of your video and allows your viewers to follow along. Blessings to you!!!🙏🏾👍🏾🤗❤️
Thank you for sharing your creative process while also giving the reasoning. I feel like being let in on the nuance of your brushstrokes. Has made me confident in my own painting approaches. Please continue to share!
Thank you so much for this video. It is so helpful for artists to share their process and offer advice. There are so many artists on RUclips who film themselves painting, but speed up all the important bits and record a voiceover where they’re just waffling on about nothing in particular. It’s so hard to learn anything from those videos. But you’ve really made an effort to show how you work and I really appreciate that. ❤
As usual, I love this video and yes it was definitely SO useful. I LOVE how it shows so much of your process. I think having you talk through your mindset of each step makes it maybe more informative than a typical tutorial. It was such a nice surprise to see this video come so soon after your last one. I know your day job is demanding of your time. Thank you!! This will be another to bookmark and rewatch as a learning source. ❤❤❤
Thanks so much, Sarah 🥰 I actually thought of you while I was editing this as you had mentioned how useful it is to see the slowed down process in one of my other videos! I really appreciate your comments 💕 (and I surprised myself with two vids in a week 😂)
I'm so glad I found your channel. I just started my gouache channel and been finding it very frustrating; never using many colors. I'm going to try your method using one color.
I was looking for skin coloring with gouache, and now I found you, but I did not find an explanation like your coloring. Thank you very much I subscribed to your channel because I find it difficult to draw eyes with gouache
I don't usually comment on a RUclips video but girllll!! You are so talented and you are inspiring me to practice painting everyday. I am new to Gouache and your videos are my go to. I love your fruits gouache tutorial! I followed your strawberries and I love the results! Keep it up! Thank you and hugs from Australia!
Thèse are beautiful portraits!! Is this with acrylic gouache or water basée gouache? And yes, I would really enjoy mote vidéos such as this one. I'm just now leanting about gouache and I love it!!
@@sofiapavanmacias Ok and do you ever use acryic gouache? When you paint over something with the traditional gouache, do you have to wait until the paint is completely dry? I'm so impatient - I don't wait long enough because it always ends up lifting off the page.
I have this same dilemma with reference photos. How do you give proper accreditation to the owner when you really don't know the OP of a lot of photos. Sometimes I don't know if I can post a painting that I did because of the reference. Knowing its okay as long as its reference is nice.

Yes I can totally relate, having lots of colors can be overwhelming which is why I love doing monochromatic studies!

Hi, which videos did you use to learn the lumis method?

I totally get you and to be honest I don't know if I have the right answer for this!
