I tie In-line spinners too, but I have never worked with tinsel. I use 65 strand 8" long strand silicone skirts. They have glitter in them for added flash, and have alot of flutter in the water. These flashabou skirts look nice. Do they flutter well? I love to add large trailers, but what kind of trailer would be put on this? I would imagine a C tail but a ribbon tail would seem to work great too. Great idea with the upper treble on a stirrup clevis, Ill have to try that.
@jayder1985 Hope it helped, best thing to do is to buy a bait that you want to make then reverse engineer it using the magazines sizing guides for the parts, order then your in business! Its easy and a rewarding feeling knowing that you caught a fish on your very own creation!
@fishing538 I can, it might take me some time to get a vid on it but Ill keep ya posted. Its actually easier to tie Marabou than it is tinsel, just takes more time.
@greenhead1995 we order bulk from Hedron, the registered trademark owner of "Flashabou" It comes in "hanks" and can only be purchased in bulk with a manufacturers license.
10 years later, rumour has it were still waiting on the parts list to this day...
😂
Thanks man! Thats a great help!

With the camera out of focus I am not sure how you mounted the coils in the vice.
Still waiting on parts list.
How much flash to use on each coil??? A whole package? Thanks for the video.
so is that a variation on a whip finish that you are using for tying the flashabou to the coil?
still waiting on the parts list....lmao
how do I get one of those 2 inch condenser columns?
Great video, Thank you for sharing!
@fishing538
I reckon that if your planning to fish more shallow waters its going to work fine, am I correct hazaratkhan?
Great demo, thanks for sharing. Those baits are $22 - $25 anywhere!
Do you know a place to get the flash for cheap?
