Some things I forgot to mention that you might be wondering: - I'm located in Wilmington, North Carolina. - I pay rent weekly ($335/week). There are rooms without windows that are cheaper, but the natural light is worth paying more, for me. There are also double rooms with two salon chairs that are more expensive. - Rent covers everything (internet, electric, water, trash, laundry). - I have 24 hour access, so I can work whenever I want. - There are common areas (front waiting room, processing room with a mini fridge that's stocked by management, break room with a full kitchen and laundry). - I don't have a mini fridge in my room, because there is one in the common area that's stocked by management. - I could get blinds for my door, but I don't want to. - I don't sell any retail at the moment. Let me know if you have any other questions! :)
You have an excellent setup! I have 2 questions: Q1: Are restrooms in the common areas as well? LOL I was just wondering about that. LOL Q2: Also, would you consider selling retail in the future? However, I know this may not be a priority with limited space. Again, thank you so much for sharing.
The progress from your stations from your previous salons to officially your own personal suite is tremendous, you really have come a long way, and all of your hair coloring advice sticks to my head like glue and I'm so proud of you Sam 🥰🥰🥰
So proud of you same! You were born to have your own salon! You're so knowledgeable in everything, and I know you're helping so many people with your transparency. Thank you for being such a positive light ❤ So many more good things are definitely coming your way ✨️
At the salon I work at we would run out of Wella developer a lot and the beauty supply stores also have a hard time keeping it in stock where I live. My boss started putting Matrix developer in it instead and didn’t tell us for months. The results never changed for any of us and actually, I feel the lift is better and gentler with a mismatch developer so now I will opt for the Matrix even when we have the Wella developer!
Hi Sam how are you? good video! suggestion: the security camera should be where your clients can't see it. maybe either have camera higher towards the ceiling or hide it at the back of cabinet where your hair license is on. just for your safety. I care about you! Have a good rest of your week. see you soon.
Can you please do on a mannequin a hair tutorial on how you would do a sleek straight low ponytail tutorial using hairspray only? I suggest Aveda Air Control Hairspray! Just an idea for this channel!
I got the ambery Saffron and no lie my car salesman said OH YOU SMELL SO GOOD WAIT LET ME GUESS.. & he literally guessed it was BR540 😂😂😂😂 It smells identical! So good. 🙏🙏🙏 Your salon looks amazing.. you are such a talent ♥️♥️♥️
Hey girl, I just wanted to apologize. I did not mean to call your salon at 11 something last night.. all I was doing was looking at the pictures on your site and for some reason your phone number rang ,but I didn’t get to it in time to hang up right away. The only way I would call that number is if I was in North Carolina and want to get my hair done, but I haven’t been in North Carolina in years. I love your work by the way.! From one hairstylist to another! I’ve been watching your videos since you were younger and was doing hair at home. I do wish that we lived closer. That way we could be friends and hang out because I can tell you’re someone I would be good friends with.
