We took this shinkansen last march of this year. Our trip was from Tokyo to Hokkaido. It wasn’t cheap but definitely worth the experience! I love their chocolate with flake salt. We even brought home the slippers as souvenirs 🥰
One of the special things that happens with this specific shinkansen is the connection of the red and green. It's a special thing that not many other trains in the world do (or maybe none others?) Also, like the other guy said, they end up splitting later on, so they connect while they're on the same route, then split when they need to -- efficiency! My son loves trains (especially shinkansen), so I ended up learning some of this stuff.
I love this voice over video! I haven’t added Japan to my bucket list at this time, but I am definitely second guessing it now! Thanks for this part of your trip
Also. sorry I got your email, but didn't have a chance to send out a response yet. I've been tryna work on this video and another one before I leave on a trip tomorrow morning.
It’s a shame this video doesn’t have as many views as your credit card content. I really enjoyed this review as well as your business class flights review. Hilarious stuff, but entertaining and educational as well! Love your content. - Ivan
wassup Ivan! 🤙🏽 thank you my good sir. I really appreciate that you like these. Of course I want them to do well also but these videos are so fun to make and hopefully provide you all with a nice mix of content.
Nice video! I was wondering is the Grandclass wagon without leaving the train. I want to take the grandclass but only for a short segment of my Hakodate-Tokyo trip. I understand that I need to book two tickets, but i'm not sure about hopping on/off the train.
Hello! The trains are the Tohoku and Hokkaido Shinkansen (Series E5 and H5 ), Hokuriku Shinkansen (Series E7 and W7 ), Joetsu Shinkansen (Series E7). The routes are Tokyo Station to Shin-Aomori Station near Hokkaido
Just like CredtOne said, there are no gran class routes to Kyoto. However you can ride the business class equivalent seats in the Green Car on a Shinkansen from Toyko to Kyoto.
Thank you!
At 1:01 , The train on the left (Red) will split later on end in Akita, while the train on the right (Green), will end in Hakodate in Hokkaido. 🚄
Ahhhh 😅 thank you for the explanation 🙏🏽 I knew someone would know!
