    I am a Saudi from the city of Hail, and we have a train station on the same line. Despite traveling a lot to Riyadh, either by plane or in my own car, I have always thought about trying the train, but I haven't had the chance until now. Fortunately, I came across this vlog filled with information that I didn't know before. You are literally a tourist, but you provided me with an excellent picture of this train, and now I am seriously considering making my next trip to Riyadh by train. Thank you for this amazing coverage and valuable information. Welcome to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia!

      This train and railways in KSA was quite a revelation to me and very impressive. My father was 33 years in the service of the Indian Railways and everything railway is an attraction to me.

    What they gave you at 4:25AM is not breakfast, we call it "Suhoor", it is a meal before fasting, which means we stop eating and drinking Before sunrise until the sunset,That's why we have to wake up and have a meal to get ready for the day,I saw in the description that you made this trip in March, this was actually the month of Ramadan, at this time most people here are fasting, so they will serve this meal to everyone, even if they know that you are not a Muslim or fasting, they will give it to you cuz this is polite, but whoever don't want to be disturbed he/she can tell the employees in advance that she/he does not need this meal, BTW on normal days, this meal is not served so usually we have breakfast after 7am, not at such an early time as this. thank u for this great video,I wish you the best

    • @RoryDing

      Hi thank you so much for the information! I took this trip 2 weeks before the start of Ramadan. So I don’t think the early meal time was for fasting. 😅

      nope. Suhoor is for the purpose of fasting. Although we don't eat breakfast that early doesn't mean it's not breakfast.

      There’s a 6-line metro network currently under a construction in Riyadh and is expected to open later this year. There’s a line from the airport to the city but no metro is going to this train station 😅

      @yousefnoori Год назад +6

      @@RoryDing I found it very unfortunate that Riyadh's comprehensive metro covers almost everywhere important in the city including the south train station but missed this one, hopefully a good bus service will run between this station and the airport and/or the closest metro station (which are not very far)

    They should ideally have a 'do not disturb' button or something on the doors so that you wouldn't have to get up that early (unless you are close to arriving at your destination)

      I would that would not be allowed by the religious police as they want to make sure morning prayers being done

      @@johnmatthews8088 This is entirely untrue. Religious "police" have very limited responsibilities now a days and zero influence on decisions like what's shown in the video.

      @@johnmatthews8088 why do fools like you say blatantly incorrect things? In the comments when you know perfectly well it is not true? Do you do it just to make yourself feel more important? Because at home those around you ignore anything you say because you talk so much rubbish?
      No wonder the world is in such a sorry state with so much misinformation by clueless morons who just want to troll.

      Actually they are not removed MBS removed there power to arrest people I have watch these men in shops hit women for wearing make up or not going to pray etc it's same as women being allowed to drive yes that been removed but MBS still arrested all women who protested for it they only thing is the religious police cannot arrest anymore that only bit I see this with my own eyes it's disgusting the Koran says women should be protected my men not abused I know this because I have read it a lot of Muslims true Good Muslims have my ultimate respect but this guy's are not true Muslims I don't have any respect for them doing what they did to raif Badawi sorry not good spelling was sick the torture they done to people is sick and I can't respect that I don't would bow to MBS no not eva he is a killer plain simple no prince in my book plz belive I have great respect for true Islam I don't respect evil people though
