With infinite variety and adventure, the cost is infinite paradox and rascality. You are correct, “you” cannot stop, none of us can. The conceptual “I” must disappear and we have to totally surrender, in a way. However, running off to a cave and renouncing all worldly matters may not work, either. So long as we identify with the physical body and the plane of form, suffering and chasing after things will occur. The idea is to not be caught by it, to detach, but in such a way that cannot n described with words. The chasing just is, that is all. Some trees grow strate, others crooked. Some seeds die in the soil. 🙏
