Cool idea. I have never had customs with an ambient port like 64 and westone offer but I wonder how it compares to those. Also this is random but I'm getting Potato Jet vibes, where he makes other people test the products for the review. Makes it fun.
UE also has an ambient port but I have no clue how they compare to this… maybe I should get them 😃... I found my excuse. I love Potato Jet. Though I had to stop watching because I just want everything he reviews 💸
Problem with the ambient port is you’re effectively losing the seal and therefore correspondingly lose most of the bass. With this system you retain the seal and therefore retain the bass
Great video, best one out there for the 3DME. Curious if you still feel good about these after 5 months and what is your feelings now after using a while
I cant wait till the day someone makes IEMs with out the cords. I mean is bluetooth now strong enough that it will not have latency? I wonder why it hasn't happened yet?
I wish they weren't $800.... you can get custom ultimate ears that have an audio passthrough for the same price that will sound better. I have the UE Pros, actually watching this video on it. Love em'
Are these like fancy versions of the Etymotic Music Pro active earplugs (set up for IEM use rather than just earplugs, control over levels rather than fixed settings, etc.)?
Great Video ! (800$ Ouch...) Wish it was more affordable for 99% of churches. Im sure in about 5 years the cost for something like this will go way down.
I actually think for churches it would make more sense to set up some ambience mics (and do it well), so that anyone with any IEMs could benefit from that. Also the overall cost is much lower. Since you’re never tearing stuff down (unless you’re a portable church) the benefits of these types of in ears aren’t huge. Honestly, I think where this shines is for gigging musicians. Especially with short change over times on festivals, ambience mics are a luxury that often have to be sacrificed because other things take priority.
Wow! About time! We need to get our hands on these...
Owasso is in the house!!! 🔥🔥🔥
I agree! Thanks for watching.
2:48 that moment when he suddenly heard “HELLO…” 🏃♂️ 🏃♂️ 🏃♂️ 😂🤣😂🤣
No kidding! 😁

I get it. I love my UE References Remastered but I regret not getting that plug. Thanks for watching Jonathan.

Definitely a possibility. Thanks for watching David.

This is the perfect solution... Where can I get it? 😊

$800? Wow!
The inears have good bass response? What is the eq curve?
The cost is up there not cheap
Poor design choice to put the ambient mics in the IEMs - they shouldve just put the mics in the pack that way you can use any IEM you want.
I mean why not right?!
True, but if you have the mics on your earplugs, you literally hear how you would without wearplugs - real stereo, real binaural image.
