I'm thinking of buying this notebook and found your video really helpful, thanks!!
How is it?
There is an issue though, it heats up pretty fast, i am using the exact model.
why cant i enable my secure boot, my uefi is on and their is no option of enableing it
Simple and complete thank you
Love the fact that you converted pounds to kilograms. Thanks!!!
I try.. :)
How much will you rate out of 5 ?
Is the display 100sRGB? I'm confused between asus vivobook 15, hp 15, ideapad 5 and this model. Too confusing to choose from
No, even at high prices, we don't get 100% sRGB. Welcome to the new normal.
i like this laptop, except the rubbery case. but Got it for 240€ used. What i found really weird,- is the touchscreen missing 360 degr folding. Whats the point in having laptops with tablet mode then? its not useful, right?
Good point. I never use them in tablet mode, so I'm not a good judge of that functionality.
will it do the job for trading forex and stocks ?
This model I bought has an unexplainable flicker. I updated the driver and one of them did not disappear. I wonder what to do.
Get it repaired!
Nice video Thank you. I would like to know from your side if it's a good laptop for conducting yoga classes or not. I'm trying to buy one at an affordable price and a bit of a good quality one. Thank you again
For durability, stick to the higher end models (ThinkPads). I'm starting to hear of issues with the ThinkBooks as they age.
It's a ThinkBook not a ThinkPad
I realize that now… lol. I’m so used to saying thinkpad. We only noticed my error after it released.
@@BobPellerin totally understandable
Is this better than hp pavilion with the same price range variant ?
Like about build quality and after sell service and reliability ?
Yeah i m also going for it over pavillion 👍
Pavilion is expensive and doesn't have this much features and having heating issues so go for this.
I’ve had heat related “concerns” with HPs over the years.
@@BobPellerin Hi, I'm sorry to bother you, can you tell me how is this one (thinkbook) doing?
@@196jocker I've had bad experiences with HP majority of times. :o!!
Hi, I think the screen is IPS, is it satisfactory enough?
It’s not the brightest but I think it’s more than adequate for most.
Can I use this a civil engineer?
where can i find the variant with 60wh?
Thanks for the comment. Unfortunately, I can't help you with that one. try calling a local Lenovo dealer.
thank you for saying that is has Win11 cuz I'm looking for a new laptop and this laptop has Avery thing I want !
how to turn on keyboard lights ?
It's usually the Fn key with the spacebar or the key that shows the light coming from a key symbol. Make sure your model has a backlite keyboard. You can get a ThinkBook 15 gen 2 with or without that feature. So... If you can't find it you may not have it.
For the graphics, its better intel iris compare to nvidia rtx?
A dedicated GPU is better than the “built-in” one usually.
Tell about battery life
That is so subjective to how you use it and what cpu, RAM and drive you got that it’s impossible to comment. If you want great battery life get a MacBook with the M1. I’m never satisfied with any laptop as I’m a heavy user. So it’s never good enough.
@@BobPellerin ok I got it
@@BobPellerin so would you recommend at M1 macbook air or a lenovo thinkbook?
@@specialsnowflake9097 There is no comparison between them due to price 👍
How is the hinges?
Is it dual drive machine
just get one 200 dolar , mint condicion.
Great!
Can u check and compare with thikbook 15 iml i 7 10 ma 8 GB DDR4 y M2 240?
We’re out of laptops to review at the moment. I’ll see what I can do.
@@BobPellerin thanks
How to turn on keyboard light on this laptop?
fn + space key
I get this a lot. Make sure your exact specs had the feature. Usually the i3 inexpensive doesn’t include that. If you have it look up the key sequence to use as it varies. Unusually the FN key with another one (ex: space bar).
@@caturdone9302 does not working
@@ayubberzinji1414 bro is your keyboard light working???
@@hemanthpalli3223 No. my laptop doesn't have backlight
For someone who is a graphic designer on a budget
Is this model advisable
I’d go for a desktop with a big high res screen.
@@BobPellerin can you give some suggestions
Can I charge this laptop with a USB-c mobile phone charger?
I doubt it. Check the wattage your charger can deliver.
@@BobPellerin it's 2,4 A.
You can charge these if your phone charger is minimum 30 Watts and you have a USB-C cable that has the PD standard (power delivery), can get the PD cables for a few dollars on amazon.
What’s the difference between gen2 vs gen4 anyone please?
Without calling up the specs for both I’d say the motherboard features the newer CPU, faster RAM, latest PCIe so potentially better/fast M.2 NVMe drive. The newer CPUs should offer more speed with longer battery life.
@@BobPellerin thank you.
is it have bad igpu? please explain about this. because, i plan to buy this laptop.
Check out my video on Intel processors. I mention the GPUs.
👏👍👋
FUCKING BAD LABTOP
Why?
@@ok_laptop7963 he probaly bought the i3 version I would get the G3 with ryzen 5 or 7
Get the higher end models. I have a video coming on how bad the i3 with A mechanical drive are in some of these models. Depending on what you are doing performance and battery life vary.
I don't think so
