These are the people that gave us West World, then ruined it. I had very low expectations, and was pleasantly surprised by the first episode. The show does follow the lore, and is not burred Hollywood's set political narrative. The writing is alrighting is passable. The characters are mildly interesting, and have room to grow. Over all there is room for faint hope.

I agree the first episode is not terrible. I wouldn't say it's slow but it is a bit fragmented... And I have a couple nitpicky writer's criticisms, but so far it is a fair adaptation. It has potential.

Stopped watching when I saw the trans actor crowbarred into it.

its ok...walton goggins is the best by far...his acting is what held S1 together
