I did this dive last October and it was a dream come true. The entire crew of Jack's dive locker were great and they made it a fabulous experience. Best thing I have ever done next to having my daughter.
Would you ever consider making this video into a loop? My son is 5 and autistic, has a great love of all things ocean and especially manta rays. He asks for us to play this at night over and over. It’s so beautiful to have on. We thank you for making such a beautiful experience for the world to enjoy.
I am so completely overjoyed that you and your son think so much of this video! It will be an honor to create a longer looped version for your son to enjoy! I can even include some additional footage of the manta rays 🙂 Give me a few days to put it together and render it - I'll reply with the link here when I post it! To hear that my little video is helping foster the love of the ocean in such an amazing child makes me incredibly happy! Thank you! 😃
@@RightAscensionStudio I am in tears. Thank you so very much! This means the world to us. We so appreciate all the hard work that goes into diving and also making sure these beautiful creatures are respected during dives. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
@@annemarieofarrell2938 I can't thank you enough for your kind words. To say I've been ecstatic to put this new video together is an understatement. I've just enjoyed taking pictures and video of my adventures and posting them if anyone cares to watch, but to hear that it stirs the imagination and enthusiasm in a child means so much to me! Thank you so much for your request! 🙂I hope you both enjoy this one hour loop version with additional footage: ruclips.net/video/t1aB-fnbKxo/видео.html. It's so great to know that there are even more people out there with such a love for these gentle giants and all ocean life - this ecosystem is so vitally important to the entire planet! All of my very best to you and your family!
@@RightAscensionStudio I cannot begin to thank you enough. My son has watched this curled up with his stuffed manta ray (and leopard stingray). We appreciate your graciousness for giving him such a beautiful gift. ❤️❤️❤️thank you thank you thank you
I did this years ago with Kona diving and it remains today one of my top 3 dives, ever. Video can’t capture just how magical these creatures are. The wing span of these mantas is pushing 17 feet and they glide within millimeters over your head. I’m 6 ft and barely able to walk down the sidewalk without tripping.
My daughter just sent us the link to the 1 hour loop you so graciously made for our grandson. I want to thank you so much for doing such a kind and considerate thing. It means the world to the whole family. Happy 4th of July.
Literally just did the snorkle experience 2 hrs ago and unfortunately did not get pics and it was magical. Didn t have the balls to scuba yet. It was best thing i ve ever done.
Next time you’re back Night diving with Manta Rays on the big island seems pretty cool or like charter a boat and catch some big boys in the ocean. There’s a lot to do here in Hawaii! Hope you come back soon! 🤙
My wife and I did a dive trip in Grand Cayman. It was the PADI Advanced Scuba course. The name is misleading as you're not an advanced diver after the course but it was alot of fun and there wasn't a pressure of certification like the Basic Open Water Course. There were 5 dives, 3 required and 2 elective. Among the required dives was the night dive. I was a little uneasy about it and thought it would be creepy. It turned out to be my favorite dive ever. At no time was anything pitch black. You could always see shapes in the water. Also the dive boat hung strobes over each side so it looked like a sci-fi spaceship hovering over us. Also the 15 or so other divers all had their own light so it was like there were fireflies moving through the water. Plus we saw bioluminescence when the divemaster fanned a barrel coral with his fin.
I did this dive years ago and it is still one of the best dives i ever did. I was so disappointed as my underwater camera stopped working just hours before it. But in hindsight it was a good thing, because Inwas able to just enjoy the experience and be present for the dive, ratherbthan trying to capture the perfect shit. We had over 30 rays show up. Now, when I talk about the dive to someone I can just show this video instead.
What was the scientist’s name? Marty Staufers on wild America? Well he was swimming with the manta rays and one poked him through the heart with its tail
Dear , I am writing to inquire about your permission to use your video clip. This is , the Korean TV show which is broadcasted on JTBC (Korean TV channel). With your permission, I'd like to use your video to introduce the amazing footage of night dive in Hawaii with Manta Ray. It will be broadcasted at 9PM on 23 January 2023. Thank you for your kind attention and look forward to hearing from you.
Thank you for contacting me. Yes, you may use the footage for your segment if you would be so kind as to credit the video to this channel. Please note: I'm not sure how international digital music rights work, but I do not own the rights to the music used in my video and have not monetized it - I don't know if this is something that needs to be considered. And if possible, if there's a way to share a link of that segment/show after its broadcast, I'd love to see it :-) Thanks!
This looks like what my soul needs .... I must see this before i leave this rock..
My sister and I took my nieces out for a swim like this...
It is a spiritual experience indeed
I'll be doing it in october. I said the exact same thing.

Was in Kona back in 2004 diving a draeger during a three hour manta dive. The best dive ever!

Mystically beautiful creatures
Oh I did this back in 94' 😉😊
What kind of camera were you using? Incredible images and very clear.
Thank you. I used a GoPro Hero 8 Black. I edited and composed the video in Adobe Premiere.

Argh they are so beautiful!
Magnificent!
Gorgeous video!
amazing......
What company did you go through?
See video description, or first part of video😉

Why are they no sharks?
While sharks are not uncommon in Hawaii, they are not seen during every dive. They show up when they want to :-)
Top CLASS MANTA
the dream omg

Hi there, which setting did you use to have such good results with your GoPro?
I had it on mostly auto at 4k 30fps. I didn't want to have to be adjusting it whilst enjoying the dive 🙂
@@RightAscensionStudio shit I did 60 fps and that was nice but way darker than your results
What camera did you use? These shots are great and looking for a good scuba camera.
I used a GoPro Hero 8 Black with a waterproof housing for this dive.
