Thanks for today’s video, Rebecca. As usual, your humor doesn’t disappoint-“Yes, it’s expensive; it’s Tom Ford. It’s expensive but cheaper than a Tom Ford bag or shoes!” lol. I liked all the products on you. I am considering the YSL lip balms, but wavering because I normally favor lip products with staying power so I don’t have to constantly reapply and lip balms aren’t normally long lasting, in my experience.

Hello Susan! Yes. I admit. These are not very long lasting on the lips. With a little bit of the right placed liner then they definitely do last a bit longer but you are correct

Hi Rebecca, finally TF released the blush , in US. I don’t even care for TF makeup, but this blush I waited, since j think I saw someone in another part of the world, in December. Love that not too creamy. SF very humid, for sweaty looking blushes🤪 and love the color.i don’t have nothing like that, well I think it’s similar to Gucci, no 5 or .. but this one looks warmer. I am afraid that I am going to like it so much, that decide to get backup 🤪 which never worked out for me… it looks like I need and then something new comes out 😳. I also thinking to get TF lipstick, in Nobile or something like that. I think they re promoted , to go with the blush 🤔 but not sure about that, I never bought TF lipstick… Have a blessed day🙏❤️

I really like this type of look. I’m finding I’m more comfortable in this aesthetic. I hope it looks as good on me as on you. You have me sold on the blush. As far as price, it’s the price of 2 or 3 others, but I don’t need quantity in blush.

If I’m paying $150 for a foundation I don’t want to have to rush before it dries down on my skin. That sounds stressful. I actually appreciate this foundation so much because it makes my beloved Prada foundation seem like a real bargain! 😂😂😂
But wow, it sounds bulletproof!! That’s truly impressive! That long lasting sounds like music to my ears with combo/oily skin in a humid summer…but the price hits a sour note for me. I just can’t when there are so many great foundations at much better prices. But maybe one day when I can get it at a discount, I’d give it a go just to try it.
The blush is beautiful! The way you described the formula sounds like the blush in the Natasha Denona My Dream Cheek trio. That has a cream blush, too, but at first I thought it was a powder.
But the TF is glowier on the cheek, though, which I like a lot.
I’m passing on this YSL lip product. I LOVE the Candy Glaze, I like the Loveshine that used to be Rouge Volupte. I don’t want to mess with pH adjusting nonsense. And that’s good because I don’t need another lip product!! Having a firm reason to skip it works for me!
Oh totally. The Natasha blush is a little bit dryer. The Natasha was kind of like the Armani for me. This has a little bit more slip in the Tom Ford formula but very similar. You are spot on. Those YSL lip formulas. They need to offer some sort of a graduate level course in telling them apart. The price of the foundation is ridiculous. I guess it’s called architecture because you’ve gotta live in it instead of a home after paying for it.

I have just repurchased the stick foundation , it’s my favourite. TF shade and illuminate Radiant is on my wish list . Rose Prick perfume is one of my favourites too . Ysl balm is lovely in brown nude 🤗❤️

I won’t even pretend i didn’t want one for the pkg lol. I ordered a new shade to try in scenic brown from the loveshines, the first one was too similar to my lip to make any difference. I was a little nervous about the PH in these but i went for the brown because i haven’t seen those swatches skew pink🤞 when i was doing some digging ha. I always assumed the ysl scent was like apricot or maybe i read it somewhere. They just always remind me of the oils from years ago which was so nostalgic
When i was a kid my grandfather had a fig tree but i couldn’t tell you what / if it had a scent lol. When you say fig i think of Phlur father figure fragrance.

I guess that pH changing thing is really playing those lip balms. I didn’t think they would be but if you say they’re looking different different on you then I guess they are. Interesting!
that blush suits you perfectly! the 6B definitely does look more pink on your lips, so maybe it did change on your skin.
Apparently it’s looking different on other people, the lip balm. So I guess it definitely really is pH reactive

It's a beautiful foundation. That cream blush too.. looks so easy to blend. I wonder if you liked the Armani cream blushes..ppl said it was also a drier formula and easy to blend. Thanks for all you do.
The Armani cream blushes are a little bit drier than this. I like this one from Tom Ford a little bit more as it has a tad bit more slip than the dryer Armani.

Love the look Rebecca. I think the not primer side overall appeals to me but definitely good skin care necessary. This foundation would be right up my alley but for the price. I can’t imagine $150 for a foundation… just a crazy amount. I love the look of this blush, also crazy amount but I guess that it’s under $100, I can see a weak moment purchase. I do like the ysl lipsticks. I think I have lip products coming out of my ears but again I could see on a whim. Looking forward to foundation round up video coming. 😊
I think for the price, I actually prefer the Louboutin. This one is a little bit fussy. I do like the overall look but I hear a lot of people have issues with it. The blush, on the other hand, I’ve got to tell you I think that might be worth it

The one hundred fifty dollar price tag does not shock me. I pay that for my LaMèr which I absolutely love. I don’t see this foundation looking as good as my LaMer. If it did I would pay the price. The crème blush looks nice.
When you find a product that you love and you’re going to use it and enjoy it and it’s reliable, I don’t think any of us mind paying the price. So I see your point entirely.

The Tom Ford foundation looks really beautiful. Yes the price is steep, BUT if you love Tom Ford, this is no biggie. I am more excited to get the Prada foundation but I have to finish one in my collection first.
The cream blush is such a pretty shade but I prefer powder blush, if he has this in powder formula, I will grab it!

The flawless filter underneath is a great idea and I will give that a try when I get the foundation. Love that a brush is good for this foundation application as that is my preferred application method. Fingers crossed, I will like it too. It looks lovely on you. I have combo skin so hopeful that it won't be a drying matte.
I really feel like with dry skin you definitely need some sort of a Slippy primer underneath. And then I think you will like it. Let me know what you think

Re the price. There's obtainable luxury and that's been booming. Chanel etc people can afford a little bit of luxury. So Tom Ford have gone right we need to be next level luxury in my opinion. Their quads were always pricier then "luxury" chanel, charlotte tilbury. So it seems like they've got silly with the prices but really they are just putting themselves back in the tier they view themselves in
Not only are you correct, but, as you probably know, this stuff is researched and documented. They have teams. They want to be that cut above. So if the others raise their prices, they will raise theirs. They want to be slightly unattainable but still attainable. It is a psychological goal
The Tom Ford foundation sent me INSANE! The finish looks like lots of tiny dots all over my face, and it looks super dry around the nose. I've tried all different kinds of things underneath it (including nothing at all). I don't have oily skin or enlarged pores. I've tried using mega thin layers, thicker layers, and the same thing happens every time. I am BIG mad. The foundation also absolutely freaks out with skincare underneath it. it does dry down very fast and it does last. HOWEVER, I found the Louboutin foundation to be very longwearing, does not sink into lines, and dries down fast. I much prefer this one. It is very similar to Tom Ford, but without all the problems, and it is slightly more glowy. I am very big mad that I spent £120 on the Tom Ford for it to turn out to be terrible on me

Omg do you have the option to return it? That’s terrible. 😰I’d be mortified too. The only place I can get it in Canada is an online dept store that doesn’t allow returns for opened beauty items so I won’t be chancing it. Sephora Canada is carrying less and less Tom Ford these days. I’d totally take a chance on the blush but that’s not available anywhere in Canada yet anyways
@@michelleisabel Sadly not. You are not allowed to return opened cosmetics in the UK. Charlotte Tilbury, Lisa Eldridge, and Clinique do if you buy from them online, but nowhere else does. I am hoping it might behave better when the weather is warmer, but not holding my breath. Didn't have any of these issues with the traceless soft matte foundation this is replacing. But this does seem to be a tricky one. Lexi Jongs review of it showed it breaking apart really badly on her, which I didn't experience
@@twoleftfeet9626 that really sucks, that is soooo much money to not be over the moon. All of our skin and our skin care is so different, it makes it tough for complexion products. Color cosmetics aren’t generally as problematic. I hope you can find a way to make it work. In Canada Sephora has a great return policy but many other stores are like the UK regarding retuning open products.

I also found my usual colour in Tom Ford which is perfect in the shade & illuminate and the traceless soft matte came up 1-2 shades lighter in the Architecture foundation. So even more of an insult. I have found it freaks out slightly less with a water based primer. But the Louboutin is my new HG
Well, I had to try one maybe two of those YSL Balms.. I have the other formula of this brand-that’s more of a gloss, but I think I’ll like these even more.. I have come to just love. balms these days.. they feel lighter and just more youthful, overall, for me.
That TF blush is gorgeous.. I might get it because this is the second video I’ve seen now, where it looks just stunning on both you and the other individual who featured it.. the color is just stunning.. and I’m just going for more creams these days, but that are easy to work with, and all the things… Thanks Rebecca!❤. I think the true winners this video are the lips and the cheeks. The foundation is beautiful but there’s so much competition and no one should have to pay that much

I think double wear is a little bit more pliable. And this one is much more middle of the road coverage rather than full coverage. You are also correct that estee Lauder does indeed own Tom Ford.

I prefer the Prada. A little smoother. A little thicker. A little bit more more lustrous

Just picked up the blush after watching your video. Im looking for a foundation and i can decide between tom ford architecture or the sisley phyto teint perfecting foundation. Which one would you choose?
Oh wow that is tough and they’re both pricey. I do not have enough experience with the Sisley as I’ve only tried it once and I do not own it but I have never heard a bad thing about it and this Tom Ford can be hit and miss for people.

The only thing that interests me is the Tom Ford Creme blush. Right! I really need another blush. So for that reason I plan on holding off until I use up some of my many blushes. I really laughed at the description of the scent in the YSL balm. I detect the same sort of scent in the YSL loveshine lip oil stick. It’s not my favorite. But, at least it doesn’t have an overwhelming floral fragrance. What I really love is a lip product without scent or taste. Lastly, you look beautiful, so very vibrant.❤️🙌🤩

Fig is absolutely used in fragrances. Also, Diptique uses a fig tree scent for candles and other home fragrances. And it’s also used in perfumes.

I wonder if the foundation would look good weight the new TF dewy primer - so funny TF made a dewy primer just before a matte foundation, but had made a matte primer with a dewy foundation before - a weird off set of products and kind of an *investment* for wearing a foundation at these prices -
Problem is, for me, the TF products I’ve gotten have always been soooooooo amazing! It’s making me mad at these prices how good this brand is - I’ve been picky so I know some things may not work for me and w/ the Tom ford price I’d be disappointed - but what I have is crazy good - I just got the teenie tiny (I was sure would be useless and the wrong shade… fingers crossed) concealer stick - I LOVE it 😅 whyyyyyy is it perfect?!
I have a very very old peachy cream blush in the white packaging - I wonder if the new mauve one is a different formula bc the cream one I have isn’t what I’d say a cream to powder feel - it’s slippy and slightly sweaty, but then not slippy and sweaty soon after application, so maybe the same formula -it sets down somehow perfectly like not a cream really, but still a cream, and just glows beautifully - it’s kind of glorious really and happened to be the first cream blush I had tried (now I’m spoiled) - it glows like my skin is magic and I literally get compliments on my skin when I wear it - what kind of expensive magic
I do believe it works very well with that primer actually. It’s nice to love the products when we spend so much on them but I also understand what you mean when you say it’s frustrating because it ruins us for normally priced products
I’m confused. When I check Tom Fords website it says there’s one shade of cream blush in 01 cafe. But, when I click on it, it shows as a rosey nude shade. Are these the same? I don’t want to spend $95 and get the wrong shade lol!
It is totally confusing. There is indeed only one shade… At least right now… It is called the Café Rose blush and then other times it’s given a different name with the zero one after it
