I saw this comment while publicity was showing and DOUBLE the price tag 😮 I loved the iluminate one…but double the price for me it is wayyyyyu to much but let’s see Charlotte opinion ❤❤❤
If I ever had a promotion to celebrate or something I could see myself trying a sample of this and getting a bottle if it worked on me. I like staying power. I like matte. I LOVE lightweight. Everyone's values are different when it comes to make up. I could see this being a treat purchase.
I prefer matte foundations but can't wear most of them because of my sensitive dry skin. But I loved this foundation. Been wearing it for a week now. They didn't have my normal color Bone either but the SA told me the rest of the colors would be coming in about a month so I bought Buff for now. The scent is coming from the Lavender oil. I tend to stay away from products with fragrance and chemical spf but really loved this finish so fingers crossed that my face doesn't develop an allergic reaction.
This is good to know. My skin is sensitive too. I use tretinoin so I have dry patches but my T-zone is oily and I live in a humid climate. Talk about finicky. I can't do most fragrances but I can usually tolerate *some* lavender or citrus scents. Definitely tempted by this one. Thanks for the tips.
Your preference may be for the more glowy foundations Charlotte but this foundation looks beautiful on you and makes your skin look flawless. I think it would be just my cup of tea but alas far too expensive, crazy price. Thank you for your review 🥰💜
Wow! I’ve watched 2 reviews prior to this. Both reviewers didn’t like it. Both complained that it broke up in the heat. One individual lives outside of Washington DC and the other lives in Miami. I’m sw Florida so I’ll pass. We are pretty much very humid and hot all year long. Plus, I will not spend $150.00 on 😊a foundation. I am no longer enthralled with Tom Ford as it’s just glorified Estée Lauder. But, I do appreciate your very thorough review.
I live in Boca and I’m skipping it too. For many reasons but I just can’t with Estée Lauder anymore. They buy companies and ruin products with the so called improvement. I bet it’s a flop.
Gorgeous bottle! Love the look of this foundation on you. It would take me at least 2 years to use this up. Wishing TF would make this in a smaller container.
Yay, no SPF!! I’ll be picking this up at the next Sephora sale IF it ends up at Sephora. I’m dying to try it, but not $150 dying. 😂 Love love love the video and always love your reviews! ❤
This foundation looks gorgeous! Alas, I doubt I'll ever be curious enough to actually shell out the money for this. I also, like you, prefer a little glow. So, for now, I think I'll have to stick to my Forever Skin Glow by Dior or the Hourglass skin tint. As usual, though, your video made me smile, and you gave a GREAT, informative review. You are a delight!
Char char, I do love watching you apply foundation. It’s soooo relaxing to me. Love it. I’m here for it, but not buying foundation. You are graceful with application.
My thoughts exactly but I never knew how to say it without sounding like I have a fetish lol. It's just so gratifying to watch. So many others pound their face quickly like it insulted them lol. Ouch, slow down! I've become addicted to application videos like Charlotte's and Tania Wells with that relaxing self care vibe 💆🏻♀
The foundation looks super gorgeous on you, dear Charlotte!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩Thanks for the ingredient list, very good! I see again lavender oil, 2 times now, so that's a no, and the Hourglass foundation was anyway to dry fo me, the Hourglass skintint i really like. But a super good video, super informative as well, thanks a lot, have a wonderful day!!!😘😘😘😘
This foundation sounds like exactly what I'm looking for unfortunately I cannot (and honestly will not) spend $150 on ONE product. I have normal-oily skin, oilier in the t-zone. I just wish I could find this for a more affordable price tag. It looks absolutely beautiful on you, Charlotte!
Price here in Australia is $230. It's good to hear it's flattering, kind and forgiving. I think this might be on the way to pricing itself out of existance. It does look nice on you. I appreciate you review. Thank you.
Thank you for mentioning the type of fragrance, showing the ingredients and shade range on screen and for comparing it to other full coverage foundations. If it's similar to Hourglass, that's exciting because the HG shade range is too peachy yellow for me but wears well in my humid climate. Interestingly the TF looked more luminous on Tania so I'm going to have to give it a try. Since I don't wear base daily, a foundation can last a year for me so I feel justified in the splurge. 😇Excellent review Charlotte 🌸
Looks lovely on you but more foundation than my mature skin can handle. Lisa Eldridge new skin tint is my dream complexion product. Doubling the price is unreasonable. Is it twice as good as the previous version?
You have the best recommendations! I love everything you recommend so I dropped the money on the foundation. Note- the app gives 15% off that the website didn’t. I found out too late!
Just want to say this grey eyeshadow looks amazing on your eyes! 😍Foundation doesn't really get me excited, I like a really light natural coverage and hate the feeling of anything on my skin. I've got the Lisa Eldridge skin tint and foundation and between the 2 of them I don't see myself buying anymore base products anytime soon. It was cool watching the review though, I'm glad at least it wears great for the price.
It sounds like the perfect foundation to me. It also looks so nice on you Charlotte. At the Tom Ford retailer in Belguim it isn't launched. The old version is still available. I was curious to know the price in euro's, is it around 160 €? ( the skincare scent you mentioned is a downside for me) Thank you for the review. Always love your reviews.
That’s a serious price tag and besides the battles I’m currently in with concealers my wallet is losing the war with sales and necessities like skin care, brushes and all of the other new make up for me being back into it after a hiatus. Afterpay and klarna are getting ready to deny me 😆. Looks beautiful but I doubt it’s in my future ever unless it is a gift.

I’m so looking forward to seeing this but I’m surprised they didn’t rollout something with a similar price tag. Glad I got a bottle of the old one at half price before they disappeared.
When it released here the only shade available was my shade, ivory rose. I took that as a sign and ordered it. I do like it much better than the old matte version. It is lighter weight on the skin and it looks amazing.

Of course just my luck it costs $150! With my mature combo oily T , i avoid anything thick, glowy, radiant, dewy, etc (which is basically everything on the market). I also dont use solid mattes. So satins are my preference. I dont layer primers or powders, so searching for affordable natural, satin finish is challenging. Charlotte, please find a dupe!
I think I may be having a midlife crisis. I never would’ve thought twice about buying a $150 foundation. And then I go buy 3 foundations costing me $200 before tax. 🤦🏽♀️
I feel like makeup is becoming what plastic surgery/injections used to be, only for the rich. Eyeshadow palettes come out in the $80-120 range and we barely blink a perfectly coated eyelash anymore.
I’ll never buy a foundation this expensive- but I still watched it all just because I love your videos 😂❤️

I do wish they would do small (and cheaper!) bottles for those of us who only roll out this sort of foundations very occasionally
Yes, that would be so good! x
Yes! I’ve often thought the same.
Agreed! A bottle half that size would be great... especially for travel (and flights over 8 hours)
Yes, but a half size would probably still end up being $120 (down from $150).
But since I never end up using a full bottle that would be perfect.
this better covers my insecurities and anxiety

Of course just my luck it costs $150! With my mature combo oily T , i avoid anything thick, glowy, radiant, dewy, etc (which is basically everything on the market). I also dont use solid mattes. So satins are my preference. I dont layer primers or powders, so searching for affordable natural, satin finish is challenging. Charlotte, please find a dupe!
I wonder how it compares to the Cleau de Peau. Regardless these prices are ridiculous, and Estee Lauders financials are in the toilet 😅

By the way what is youre 2nd lipstick on you?Ty hun❤
Dior coral d-lite
To expensive for me, on another note, have I missed your review on the RMS bronzers? 😊
Nope! ❤
Love your videos. I will pass. I’m not seeing a $150 difference after application.
I paid for CDP but since Estee Lauder now own TF I would no longer spend that money on it 😬
