@@DrawnSean I'm working on some new projects with a team and i am literally making everyone watch this, cause we need to switch to toonboom, Can't wait for the next videos 🐥
@@DrawnSean hey I was wondering if could mail you and get in touch with you through the company I'm working with regarding consulting on project, if that's something you'd be interested in.
My professor told my class to do this tutorial over the summer between semesters. He suggested it above a different tutorial which is made by one of the other professors at my school rigging a character
What you said at 2:26, I've TOO was aware of that as well. Like I think I've heard from another video or thought of it MYSELF when I learned how deformers really worked. It's always best to have something in a straight line BEFORE adding deformers so that way everything will bend nice and even without it breaking or looking messed up.
One of the best explanations for learning Toon Boom. :) Only complaint is when going to your channel to look for more stuff, I'm greeted with a screech from Part 1 of this series lol
If my bones don’t turn green after I press transform what could be wrong ? I keep replaying the video to see what I’m missing but I can’t figure it out
@@michaelflorendo7865 If you're referring to the 'deformer on deformer' feature it's technically a master controller and is quite heavy so only use it if you feel you have to. A rig I saw it being used on was a wolf that had quite a thick tail, so you could bend it to your desired shape and then use the envelope deformer to adjust the edges. I've never had the need to use it yet though.
@@randomvisual0247 For animating cut out puppets, yes! For building the rig, yes also by using the polyline tool. I use the polyline tool for most things apart from the hand shapes just because it's quick to freehand them but you can still use the polyline tool, which is just bezier curves.

what's the short cut to add a point to the envelope deformer?
Not sure if there's a short cut, I just click.

Not quite sure! I'd ask in the official TB discord.

@@bonger_toons certainly will :)
hi
I have a simple problem :)
I tried to use the auto patch and cutter
But it doesn't work completely
How would I use the envelope deformer too make the line art and color art both move
If it has a deformer everything will move.
@@DrawnSean ok
Can you please go in more advanced animation
animation will come my friend
any way I can use two deformers at the same time? Bone and Envelope? Thank you!!
There is yeah but its a little different and involves a master controller. I'll show it in a future video.
Can i use deformer on pegs?
Deformers are between drawing nodes and it's peg.
do you use the new deformer on deformer
I have once ye!
