I know u miss Sierra last week I helped my almost 18 year old dog across the rainbow Bridge she was my comfort and best friend rest in paradise my peanut and Sierra too ❤️
I know how you feel about Sierra. I miss my little yorkie mix, Rosie, so much. I think of her everyday and cry because i miss her. Just wish we had longer with them. Sierra was a special girl! Glad that you have Meadow now. 🐕 ❤
My Retirement starts next year on April 1st . My wife & I almost went for the event here in your video , but wound up in Eastern Sierra’s up at Convict lake & then came back home to San Diego by way of Death Valley. I’m gonna have to plan to be at your next gathering there I think . Looking forward to all that retirement brings . Take care , & thanks for posting this one .😎👍
You bet, Bert! Thanks for coming to the event, it was great to catch up with you. Be sure to hit me up next time you're in the area and we can go check out some of the more spectacular ruins around here. Have a nice winter in Baja!
Brian, I'm 57 years old, born and raised in Phoenix. I recently moved to Valle, bought myself some land and planted a 23 ft 5th wheel on it. Just wanted to thank you for showing our amazing state in such a great light over the years. Oh, and for what it's worth, I miss Sierra terribly too.
I used to camp in the Parks area with my ambo conversion and 85 Chevy 4x4 van (it's now touring around Europe). I think I took forest service road 76. Loved it! That store is a great place to stop, but the deli section looks better than when I was there. I wish we had a good deli in Seligman. Maybe whoever buys the market will add one. Thanks for hosting the weekend... look forward to the next one.
That was amazing Brian, wow what a fantastic get together and incredible beauty in the canyon!! So glad everything went well! That last spot was gorgeous I can imagine Sierra romping through the creek and all around ❤ you brought tears to this old man's eyes. Thank you for sharing brother much appreciated and enjoyed 👍🏻👍🏻✌🏻
Awesome tour Brian ! Great meet up trip in a beautiful space, Nice little group nice to get to know each other in smaller groups 👍, Sorry you lost Sierra it's hard when they are your best friend for a long time, Had to put my 13 year old Bella down a couple years ago & Ginger takes her place but I still call her Bella from time to time :) Meadow looks like a bundle of energy that will be busy & good company in your tour :) Take care my friend"
Hi Brian and Meadow. That looked like a really good time. The place was beautiful 😍 Meadow is growing so big now. Wow, Brian, you really got me 😢 about Sierra. I felt your pain . When you lose something that you love so much, it's very hard 💔 I'm wishing you and Meadow a great weekend ❤❤
HI Marla, we sure did have a great time! I was very pleased with how things went and look forward to the next one. Meadow did a good job and you are right, she's getting BIG! Yeah, I was missing Sierra something fierce when I was down at the spring fed creek, she sure did love spending time down there. I'd give anything to have one more day with her.
@OffGridBackcountryAdventures Brian I would do anything just to have another day with my girl too. I miss her terribly 😔 as I know you do with Sierra ❤️
Brian, we would love to come to the meet up but we have plans on seeing Graham Hancock in Sedona the weekend of the 18th. If you could do that next weekend we’d love to come up and meet everyone! Every video I’m always thinking about Sierra too, I can only imagine how it is for you. I lost my favorite sugar glider a few years back and even though we have gotten more great ones since I still feel the hole my Darko left. Sending healing energy your way brother!
Great group, and thanks for sharing the adventure. Your preps and plans really paid off. At 5:50 , you were not far from the Homestead. Wish we were out there , had another obligation back in SoKal.
hello Brian thank you for this brilliant video had no idea you could drive down but then thinking about it after you would need access to the river i havent been there since 1981 . the views are stunning so i guess im going to make a trip thank you for sharing your memories of sierra i can see how emotional it was have a great week Brian and meadow
I just want you to know I understand your heartbreak about missing Sierra. In the past 6 months I lost my 2 dogs. I cry all the time. I miss my babies.
I understand. Dogs are family. I still miss my Cooper. A Jack Russell Terrier who was with me 15 years. Now it's just me and Twinkie. See you at the next meetup.
I just did that trip down to the canyon from Peach Springs last Sunday. Sorry I missed the meetup, but was putting in a new shower. Ill be at the next meetup. We drove up from Prescott on Williamson Valley Road to Seligman, On our way back stopped at Roadkill Grill... it was kind of MEH. Want to try Lilos next time.
Such a beautiful area. I've never been to the grand canyon. Hopefully my house sells in March or April. I want to buy property in that area. Can't wait jules
Karen's are always overwhelming. Yeah, tribal land is still owned by the government. That's cool, leading the van with, Larry. I found your channel, Brian through, Larry's channel. Awe! Brian! Missing Sierra is harsh but you both have treasured memories in a beautiful spot, now to build memories with Meadow.
I traveled America in a 1962 3/4 ton 4 by 4 Chevy Stepside Pickup truck pulling a 12-foot homemade trailer that I still have to this day. with Triumph motorcycle fishing poles caned deer meat in a homemade wooden ice box that held Wisconsin 10 below zero ice for about 2 months😊 it was basically 20 gallons of Ice Frozen at 10 below zero when we left Wisconsin! in about 1989. had an old camper on the truck there was me my wife and four kids😮 and we were gone for months. we left our Log Cabin I built in Wisconsin. We stayed in Albuquerque for a while with my aunt and uncle who have passed away😢we campt every ware wild. camped around Cerrillos and Madrid and went down to Mexico and the Grand Canyon! and we never paid to stay anywhere! We had a campfire about every night and cooked out in Wild places. I hated it then that they were charging this poor family money$ to see America! and most of the time I couldn't afford to pay them for my four kids wife and me like for example meteor crater and the Petrified Forest! and it pissed me off and it still does to this day!$ now the park rangers are so corrupt you need to hold them accountable for their lies and perjury.
Just know one day we are all together with our sweet ones. It's in the bible all animals go to their new home in heaven. I know our feelings always connect as they are part of us.❤
I would definitely like to come in the spring. I have a van. The roads just looked like dirt. My van is up about 8 inches off the ground. What do you think? Could I make it? V8 engine. We have been on off road trails in it.
Just half way through your video.... Should they not of told you that there's no drones allowed when you got your permit plus was it not in the terms and conditions on your permit to Excellent video so far ATB Daz
What’s the best way to stay notified about meet ups with people in this area? I would love to join. I am currently building my off grid home in the area.
Yeah, some of the folks around here are pretty negative. There will be a changing of the guard since most of those folks are getting old. I welcome a breath of fresh air in Seligman.
So it's Indian land or it's federal land it can't be both if it's federal land that it ain't Indian Land! Too many laws and too many rules and too many rude and cruel people! It's all about the almighty dollar and I'm sick and fed up with it thanks for the warning you know I'm glad I got to see it growing up I lived with my aunt and uncle in out in the bush outside of Flagstaff in about 1960 or 61 or something back in the days when people were still able to plunder ruins in pottery and watch them from your living room window doing it
The Havasupai tribe loves to claim they are a “sovereign nation” when it suits them, but in fact, they are technically wards of the federal government. They love to starve abuse their animals too. 😡
May we ask what was the cost of the permit to go down? I noticed on the sign also in the rules and regulations that you can't even be on the road after 4:00 that they're closed what in the heck is going on another fine in jail time huh😮
How long can you stay with the permit down in the area or in your Camp spot? Because your not allowed to be on the road after 4:00 and you can't Camp unless it's in their designated area :-(? so basically if you're there after dark they'll get you for unauthorized camping? I suppose? 😢 the modern world ain't for me. it's all about the dog gone Almighty dollar$ and I'm fed up with it for 40 years already.
I thought you were allowed to use drones on federal land again? Or is that just national parks? I can’t keep up with federal control anymore…which might be the point.
Remember we own this land and are still paying for it if it's federal land then we're paying for it and it belongs to me this land is your land this land is my land remember but if it's Indian land it's Indian land but if it's federal land is federal land which is it they can't have it both ways in order to give you a fine and control you
Beautiful. 😢 Sierra missed by all, touched so many hearts. ❤
I know u miss Sierra last week I helped my almost 18 year old dog across the rainbow Bridge she was my comfort and best friend rest in paradise my peanut and Sierra too ❤️

Say hello to the Mogollon monster (bigfoot.)
Love the VIDEOS!!! Have you thought about adding a couple 1kw WIND TURBINES for these low to no sun days to make the system a little more redundant??

Are you allowed to fish down there? Where is that area with the spring fed creek?
What did it cost you for the broken motor mounts after they were done my friend?
Used to deliver to Seligman and Ash Fork Arizona very irritable buisness owners
Yeah, some of the folks around here are pretty negative. There will be a changing of the guard since most of those folks are getting old. I welcome a breath of fresh air in Seligman.
More people are getting drones
I’m thinking they need a sign when you buy the permit a sign with the important rules
My friend were the prices for the desserts was the price of $6 for one slice of pie or for the whole pie?
So they've come up with laws against flying your own camera another way to make money criminalize the public😮 I want the frontier back
... clearly the yelling woman belongs in a city - how can one be So stressed out in that setting ... safe travels ...
Can you drive a 2 Wheel Dr. down there as long as it’s high clearance?
Yes, you should be alright

I have a truck camper, a roaming Chariot I want off my Dodge ram. Anyone want it? It is in Steamboat Co.
The opposite of big city life...
You almost got arrested because less than a hr walk you could have stumbled on ancient Egyptian sites
Didn’t your father tell you don’t let them see who you are
Use common sense when operating a drone. Not cool to buzz over people down in the canyon for a natural experience.
