It took an hour for jury instructions to be read to the jury and that means they have a lot to sift through. This has been a long case and I’m sure the jury is tired.
I wouldn’t worry until after tomorrow. It was a month long case they got it pretty late. Kyle Rittenhouse deliberation took 4 days if I’m remembering right. Although that case was a lot more nuanced since it’s self defense. Not guilty verdicts usually don’t come out right away but don’t take too long. Super fast is usually guilty on all counts and super long is normally guilty on the lessers included.
It is ok, they had lunch and began deliberating at 2:30 and left at 4. That is an hour and a half, it takes longer than that to even look at the verdict form.
