Too funny that I play this song after a rough night of work with achin' muscles. Heard you guys on NPR a while ago and almost forgot to keep track of ya til today. Caught a song before work and now I'm sittin' here enjoyin' the irony of my bones.
Oh Pep!, I need a favor. I need to be able to purchase a recorded version of Doctor Doctor in my life. The drums & bass pushing the song forward, the vocal hook, and the violin that ties the atmosphere together; I'm obsessed. I need to be able to just play this song on repeat for hours, and I need to give you money for the privilege of doing so!
+Bennett Selchow Totally Agree. Powerful song. Easily could listen to Doctor Doctor on repeat all day long. This has become one of my favorite Tiny Desk sessions. Come back to the States!!!
Since it isn't already listed in the video, the people performing are: Olivia Hally - Guitar Pepita Emmerichs - Violin/Mandolin Andrew Small - Bass Liam O’Leary - Drums Super big thanks to Pepita for her help identifying people!
Her use of the violin is fantastic! I have never seen someone play the violin like a tiny guitar before and now I want to do that with my violin too. I need to see more. Are there any other bands/artists known to do that?
+Eric Loesch Hey that guy is Andrew Small and it's kinda strange to see him on electric bass like this. He is an awesome bluegrass player from North Carolina you'd normally see him playing a double bass, banjo or fiddle. If you punch his name in above and scroll past all the other Andrew Smalls of the world you'll trawl up a bit of stuff. Or search his band 'one up two down' or 'Chris Henry and the hardcore grass' Cheers.
NPR Music and Tiny Desk, I love your bringing music to the small-scale like this, but I've yet to find any hard rock or metal or progressive musical (prog rock, prog metal). Can we have less vocal-driven bands and more instrumentalists please?
Tea, Milk, and Honey hit me hard. I'm in for the long haul, Oh Pep! Keep making music.
One of their songs came up on Spotify and now I’m here and I’m in love!! This is the kind of music that pulls at my heart strings❤️❤️
I can't believe how good this group is. O relives Tea, Milk & Honey each time she performs it. Amazing.
this whole band is adorable.
The crescendo at the end of tea, milk &
honey was fantastic! Loved it all!
The more one listens to these indie ballads the better they become, sorta taking over your mind. Lovely stuff!
I get it, Olivia's got it and a wonderful talent. Thanks again, Bob for bringing the world to Tallahassee. Peace&Love, Oh Pep!

Love it when people dedicate their lives to making music that sounds like it came from a TV add.
A young Mark Maron comes from the past to fulfill his dream of playing bass.

Is the second songs about abortion?
+CarolineGrace16 Close, I think it was more of a Juno type situation though.
Ahh, the classic girl gets pregnant, decides to keep the baby situation
Yes, it is about abortion. They did an interview about it
