- Clutch and Chrome counts down 15 motorcycle commercials worth watching. Why 15 and not 10, quite frankly we couldn't fit all the fun videos worth watching into just 10.

The Triumph and Royal Enfield ones are very good reasons to be a biker. In fact I've just traded my Yamaha for a 2023 Bonneville. Best decision ever.

@@leadsolo2751That was one of the Royal Enfield Thunderbirds from about a decade or so ago as of this comment. The Thunderbird(350 in this ad) series was an evolution of their high handlebar cruiser series that started off (if memory serves right) with the Lightning and Lightning 535 and has today evolved into the Meteor 350 and Super Meteor 650. You will see this bike also in the Evolution gif they currently have on their global website for the Super Meteor 650's DNA.
@@leadsolo2751I did digging for you once I saw this question. It’s called the Thunderbird 350cc Twinspark. They make a 500 similar. Don’t know if it’s the exact same. Any time I looked at the 350s though, one like the one in the vid showed up. Hope that helps ya.
The best motorcycle commercial was from TC Bank, with the Taiwanese friends that rode again! It wasn't' even a bike commercial!!
Fun Fact: Kymco is one of TC bank’s major shares holder at the time that commercial aired in Taiwan

11:30 this one hit spot on, the reason why I love motorcycles.

My favorite was for the Honda Magna V65 back in about 1984 and showed it in the dyno room where most motorcycles fear to tread and it smokes the dyno!
Anyone else sees the irony when harley makes an advertisement about cars being in traffic and their motorcycles being "free"?
On harley (since 90% of them are cruisers) you literally stay in traffic same as a car would xD

Yes and to be more " free" the rider is either lane splitting or riding on the shoulder. Both are illegal here, and a major cause for 4 wheelers losing respect for bikers as they act and drive as if they are more important.... but then want you looking "twice" for them . Ive already seen one biker get hit with an opened door and the biker had no recourse as he was not in a lane.....
Chris youre being highly salty... It is you the car drivers that "act" more important than other road users. Atleast we dont create traffic like you do. If there were more motorcycle riders, it would benefit everyone using the road. Lane splitting is legal in most of the world because it is useful and safer. I find you traveling alone in a box fitting four as being more important. You really dont need to take that space and when i park my motorcycle in a parking space i get blamed your stupid box doesnt fit... Its a parking space, doesnt matter who uses it. You saying your car should be there is clearly stating your superiority of some imaginary sort.
only in 49 states of america will you sit in traffic everywhere else its legal to lane split so really no sitting in traffic

That's ironic the no1 spot add is named respect, the one thing Harley riders don't give to any other rider!

I don't get it either. I own a Vrod. I still don't get Harley bikers to wave at me. I am a metric man, the Vrod is the closest I can get an ride American.
that's not true. Indian Motorcycles are more american than Hardley Ablesons. look it up.
Indian was owned by AMC of UK. Not sure if that is more American. Besides they don't make anything close to a metric bike.

Technically speaking, Harley-Davidson motorcycles sold in the United States are not actually made here, but assembled here. Harley contracts manufacturing of parts to plants located all over the world, including Germany, Italy, Taiwan, Japan, and Mexico. Those parts are then shipped to Harley factories here. And these are not just accessories, but components for engines, chassis, and wheels. Yeah so American, lol. Why are Harley riders so ignorant. Wether you want to Beleive it or not. Indian is more American than Harley. #facts

I have that commercial recorded on a VCR tape somewhere that was such a good commercial also the dr. Pepper motorcycle rider riding in a beam of light and being perfectly dry while riding in a rainstorm. And I just love the Geico commercials with the caveman and the Ural motorcycle sidecar outfit

There is one commercial i remember from the 70’s. It was a Cougar Studs ad (Jeans...) where Dale Parkins did an Evil Kanevil type jump in a stadium. Have never seen it since, but never forgot it.
Don't really understand what's the big deal with a Harley, the only race they ever won is the boat anchor to the bottom of the lake.
sometimes its not about the speed. For me its the legacy ,history, and sound of the engine (like the Indian ).

I do own a Re but I ain’t that rude...in fact if I see asport bike on the road while riding my Re I will definitely wave that person and give respect to him cuz that person is also on two wheels man

S velluso dude. I have multiple cruisers. Harley being one of them. And where we live its the opposite. The cruiser riders greet. The bmw and ktm riders do not. Superbikes fuck past while concentrating on not getting splattered so lets leave them out of the equation. Honestly do not have the issue here

I agree about the number 1 pick. Don't like it. Yes, I get the the twist. No I don't find it funny. The cop getting a high five is another great alternative.

The one commercial I really like was not picked the Harley Davidson commercial about grandpa's greatest life regret after thinking over his life a Harley passes on the street "yeah I should have bought a Harley" Classic !!!

Honda's from the 80's had better Ads than the flying one(magna or hurricane), but Suzukis dog one is fantastic would've like to see that higher than all the sexual stuff
I think the best ever was the Kodak film commercial from the early to mid 80s called America. It won awards for the song it used and it was a beautiful and nostalgic piece about setting off to find America. Of course the best way to find it was on a motorcycle and using Kodak film. Wish there was a copy on RUclips.

There was a commercial in which a man comes out of his house and steps into the road to get run over by a car, or so it looks, but then the two headlights become two motorcycles passing by his side. And he later buys a motorcycle. That one was awesome and i cant find it

There are hardly any motorcycle adds on TV now days in Australia. I guess they sell themselves.
Sales are on the up even without advertising across all models and classes.
Weirdly you never see them on UK TV channels.

Since I don't watch television any more, I don't really get to see any of this stuff, plus a lot of it is overseas from me. I absolutely love the Suzuki commercial, the expression on her face is awesome when she hears the bike rev up.
I like the number one commercial as well, because it's absolutely the last thing you expect.
I am surprised the Allstate Mayhem wasn't included. The Indian commercial was pretty good. Of course, I loved the BMW one, as well, but haven't watched Rogue Nation. Maybe if those scenes are in it, I should. :)

You missed the Kawasaki one with the row of parked bikes and the dog that goes up to one and lifts his leg. It took a couple of times before I noticed it was a Honda that he pissed on.

We don't get a lot of motorcycle adverts in the UK in fact I recon more bikes spear in non moterbike adverts than actual adverts for bikes

#1 is kinda what you expect from a Harley rider. Joking, lol could not resist. I ride with some people who have Harleys. You'll find the stereotype of every brand rider on any marque - gixxer squids etc.
The carbon monoxide of the Harley in the first commercial would kill the sleeping family since the garage is directly accessible to the house, but it *would* keep the kid quiet

The Suzuki one is SUPER creepy! Did the guy let the dog run away (that's bad)? Did the guy accelerate with the dog on its leash (even worst)? Did he....take the dog on its lap (dangerous)? Or...am I the only one that didn't get it? haha
