Deborah Blake has several books out on witchcraft. It'd be nice to see the whole collection. I do love her tarot and oracle decks!

I totally agree with the statement of you don't need anything matter of fact, I believe that you will be doing yourself short by getting all these tools because you really need to learn how to manipulate energy without anything first so I totally agree with you on that.

Not only is it beautiful but it looks very helpful and easy to use, it covers a lot of topics, and has nice space for adding more to it. I love the art work through out it as well as the cover!🖤💜

I can definitely see your issues about the book. (About Mystic Dylan's book) To me I do find it odd that he labeled it Walpurgis Night...which isn't a popular name for that holiday. He should have listed the most common name then a couple othet names...this isn't that important but he uses two different languages for Walpurgis Night. Like why? The "Time" pages is technically called Sun phases. The sun doesn't get enough love in the witchcraft community. There's also planetary hours so the "Time" title should be for that. Him not mentioning the other earth zobiac is odd but like you said it could have been an error. I totally agree with your statment about the "must - have" section. I don't use herbs, olive oil, mortar and pestle, feathers in my practice. I think he could have renamed "must - haves" to "optional items" or something like that. About Deborah Blake's book, I really like how she gives you space to write in your own things. It's AWSOME how she gives you herbs, crystals and symbols....the symbols are a great and wonderful surprise and addition. Morpheus is the greek personification (daemon) of sleep. From your review, I wish she put more deities in each section, for instance Apollo is a God of knowledge bu wasn't listed in that section. I find it odd that winter silstice includes yule in the title but yet the summer solstice and the equinoxs don't have there other name. I love that she says that all you need is yourself. I wish that she had a few more writing pages for the rituals and recipes sections because those are going to take up a decent amount of space to write. I wish she had illustrations of the runes alrwady in the book. Great video.

Finally picked up The Psychic Witch after all this time. Very much enjoying it. Back to basics with corresponding excercises. Great for beginners, as well as seasoned witches who want to strengthen their foundation. Thanks for the great review :)

I love what you said about witchcraft not needing to be consumerist. I tried in the 90s'. It was in a small town where ingredients are hard to come by and my spells ended up not being very successful. I ended being judgmental toward this practice thinking it was ultimately for our capitalist century. You make me want to try again with the correct mindset this time and more as a quest of knowledge and as a way to learn about herbalism and botanic. To be in nature, more than shops. I have had a lot of bad news in my family recently. I'm thinking about teaching myself purification, banishment to ward away bad luck for my loved ones.

What you have to understand about mystic Dillon is he It's not Wiccan and the wheel of the year was a wiccan based system. He tends to learn more on the pagan and is influenced by Greek and Egyptian pantheons. And folk practices.

Wait, the wheel of the year has its origins way before Wiccan was a thing, tho? Pagans use it too and witches who aren't Wiccan too, so I don't get that comment rn

It was a collection of different holidays. Some have even a more modern creation.
Definitely like the book by Debra Blake better. Good review. I look forward to the next one on astrology.
