Fort Montgomery, NY (mi. 1409.9) to Canopus Lake Beach Shelter (mi. 1430.1) I was able to take a shower for the second day in a row, I think that’s a record 😂
It was the coldest shower I’ve ever taken in my life, but it felt great after the headache went away 😆. I hiked today through an area I had hiked in 2016 when I was in New York for training, it was neat to see some of the same places including the Appalachian Market! It was hot today and supposed to be warmer tomorrow, supposedly 97 degrees, so I’ll take it a bit easy. There is a good spot about 17 miles north of here which sounds good right now. We’ll see how it goes 👍🏻
Todays menu: Bacon egg & cheese bagel sandwich, Cliff bar, bottle of orange juice, bottle of ginger ale, a banana, 28 oz. Gatorade, a honey stinger waffle, large Snickers bar, Beef stew freeze dried meal, protein bar, 2 cans of Sprite, can of Fanta orange, 2 scoops of ice cream, 2 soggy onion rings, a Luigi Italian ice, an energy bar, and water with Gatorade powder mix.
