I am a legal immigrant who came to the U.S. with my wife and child two years ago. From day one, both my wife and I have been working. In these two years, my child has learned English. I live in a small town in Pennsylvania. And you know what? I’m amazed by the number of Americans living around me who don't do anything. They just sit on benches drinking beer. Their kids run around, they yell at them, and some even resort to physical punishment right there in the open, without any shame. This isn’t some troubled neighborhood; it's a good area with a good school. I work here as an engineer, and my wife is a dog groomer. To my American neighbors, please don't take offense, but in these two years I've been here, it's often been the locals who seem the least well-mannered-though I don't mean everyone, of course. This is just my personal experience. But if you want to improve the community around you, the change must start with yourselves. God bless America
I think there is no denying that many immigrants are prepared to work harder than some locals. BUT - the issue is crime. There is also a large population of immigrants who are simply criminals. No-one wants Venezuelan gangs living in their neighbourhood. Many people aren't against immigration, they're against ILLEGAL immigration/open border/Walk right in concept! Plus the housing given to them, free stuff, and their inability to drive.

Tbh that town looks like it was built for a lot more than 6k ppl. Sometimes a lack of job vacancy is due to a lack of business in general. The answer to that is not to keep ppl from moving in. If they are spending money at local businesses and opening businesses of their own that will only create more jobs. U cant have a business without customers and without businesses there aren’t gonna be many job opportunities. The problems not that they had no job vacancies its that they just didnt have enough jobs in general. There are plenty of thriving towns across the country with low job vacancy yet maintaining high employment rates but it is because they are located nearby to places that do have abundant job opportunities. This town seems as though it formerly was one of the job centers of the area and can’t rely on surrounding towns. An influx of population to a town like that will only help them not hurt them

I think his intentions were to get anti-immigrant viewers’ attention and then have them watch a video that shows what’s actually going on (and that the fear mongering is baseless and stupid).
The video itself explains many times that the community seems to be improving since the influx of immigrants and even has a fact check on the process of what it’s like to get a green card.
