I love hearing Abby tell stories about her growing up. I remember we had a rotary phone with a cord that could probably walk outside and wrap around the house one and a half times. Good times.
I can totally relate to these recipes! Even down to my mother calling it “depression food” because the ingredients were hard to come by. This was a heartwarming session
I love story time with Abby and yes I also would love to try the recipes. Everyone needs them quick hack recipes for those week day meals and for getting home late after dance classes
hi abby! I remember meeting you in Miami back in 2016 for season 7 auditions! I’m so proud of all that you’ve done and im so happy to see you doing amazing! ♥️
Abby you are the best I have learned many things from you just keep up the hard and good work (and I was watching Dance Moms the hole day so thx for posting)
This video was awesome. Love hearing about ur life growing up and all the special moments u had with ur mom. Loved u on dance moms too. Maybe the moms on the show couldn’t see it but my grandkids and I who never missed an episode thought u did an amazing job as a dance teacher and business owner . My 4 kids took 3 years of dance and they loved it and worked hard at it . It was there passion . Being a single mom I could no longer afford it and that was even with the discount the studio owner gave me since she knew of my financial situation. They never stopped loving the art of dance and now have their own kids taking dance . Unfortunately their teacher is too much their friend and not understanding that she is getting paid to be their dance teacher . Anyhow ur the best. Thanks for giving away ur moms secrets to making stuffed peppers. Now that I know it I will be making stuffed peppers more frequently ,I’m just not going to tell my family how I made it 😊
Can’t wait to watch the video! Thank you so much for your hard work, passion and love you put into every single video! Can’t wait for more!! We love you❤️
I loved it!!! I have followed you since the beginning of dance moms!! You are such an inspiration to so many. I also know what you mean about reaching things. I'm not in a wheelchair but I do use a walker and I'm not even 5 feet tall so I know the heartache! Keep being you Abby!! You're amazing!!
That’s similar to my granny. She used to feed the whole street for really cheap. She was at a little bit of an advantage because she was the butchers favourite customer. But she had six kids to feed. So tin of condensed Campbell’s tomato soup noddles (spaghetti pasta) boil the noodles add soup to a pan. Full can half way with water and then the it starts to thicken add a shit ton of cheese (she would have used less) and once it’s melted out it back on the heat. It’s so good and my husband loves it! It’s not my favourite of my granny’s meals because I ate it way to often because it’s just so easy to make. But her soup will forever be my favourite
I just made stuffed peppers and its the exact same way your Mom made them. Also my Moms recipe. They are cheap, and easy to make, yet really good and fills the hole. My mother taught me everything. Even her home made sweet bread which takes over 10 hours from start to finish to make. Yummy😋. Love these videos, something to look forward to every week. Keep them coming.
As someone who was very active, going to dance, drama, band and choir etc when I was younger (up until doing my degree in contemporary theatre) I can completely relate to going from that to now being in a wheelchair! It is difficult and people have no idea until they live it. I think it was really refreshing to hear you touch on that at the beginning. I’ve been in a wheelchair for 5 years and still learning. I genuinely think it is inspirational to see you continuing what you love and getting that message out there! I think everyone can do with a good cooking hack! I’m similar, I love cooking but it’s just me, so the effort does outweigh the benefit a lot of the time, especially now it’s so much harder to do as I’m in wheelchair. So please do share the recipes 😊
I thank you Abby! I have been dancing for many many years. My mom told me the world of dancing is hard as a rock. I watched dance moms and realized that what my mother said was not a joke. So when I got hard love from any of my instructors I took it not to heart, but as constructive criticism. And I ran with it and made myself a better dancer. Thank you Abby! ❤️
That Superbowl snack video you did with Guy Groove Amir a couple of years ago was hilarious. Guy's reactions were priceless. Maybe you could team up for another, and ask someone to help you with the cleanup.
Abby I luv u I just moved school it has been fun I cannot thank u enough I am starting dance this year my passion for dance is because of u thanks for inspiring me
Surprising topic but I loved hearing it. Heartwarming and familiar. You radiate when you speak of your parents and that positivity is contaigious. Thank you for bringing the wheel chair struggles to our attention. I cant believe there is no solution for this problem! But your grit inspires me. Im going through some psysical challenges myself and your attitude gives me courage. Hugs from Scandinavia!
My family always repeated dinners when I was growing up. We also did porkchops and spaghetti. We did spaghetti chops, Chicken and dumplings, breakfast for dinner, chili dogs, lasagna, and steak and sides. And we just repeated those over and over again.
This was so great and takes me back!! Our drapes were used for the stage curtain...in the livingroom that looked like a Mausoleum lol. Who could forget the phone cord 😄
Your mother and my mother must have gone to the same cooking school: Meat loaf was ground beef mixed with a can of Campbell's Alphabet Soup and baked in the oven Broiled chicken was a few packages of sectioned chicken pieces covered with a bottle of French salad dressing and baked in the oven. Brisket of beef was covered with a package of (hydrated) onion soup and baked in the oven. The pans were always fully lined with aluminum foil so they were easy to clean afterwards - throw away the foil and soap & water cleanup.
Caribbeans have this saying "tun yuh hand mek fashion" which means you need to get creative in the kitchen wjth whatever you have. I do this a lot since I can't afford to eat out a lot. It saved me a lot of money and not over spend. I wish i could eat out more 🤣
Hi abby! I am a eleven year old dancer and you are my idol!!!! You inspired me to dance and me and my bestie learned the entire boss ladies dance at a sleepover! I brag about it all the time though I probably shouldnt lol. You are my inspiration to keep dancing! Love u!
I can totally relate I have used crutches a walker and wheelchair all my life and to top it off I’m only 4’11” everything has to be at the front or it just doesn’t work
Abby, we commend you for your creativity and thoughtfulness. Yes we would like your chili recipe!!! I’m the same age as you. I have been a former multiple World and American champion powerlifting/benchpress athlete that graduated from The Ohio State University. We enjoyed the uniqueness of this video!! We were able to get to know a different side of what you enjoy, especially from your childhood memories.😇💕 This content is wonderful!
That was a great, well-told story! More can soup recipes, please. My mom owned a retail store in a busy arts district. She made fish stew from canned soup. Something like clam chowder, mushroom soup and more cooked fish. HAHA!
I am 100% just like Abby. I love to cook when it's a clean kitchen with everything you need to make anything ever. And destroy the kitchen, then leave a mess.
I am a huge Abby Lee fan. I wish she would come back to regular TV. Even if she wants to critique a cooking show, Id be down to watch. Canada loves you Abby!
Mentioning Pizza Hut was a masterstroke, Abby, since I have a soft spot for it too. 🍕 Also, reaching things in your house shouldn't be a problem within a year or two. 🤞
First of all I just want to say that you look really pretty. I like the way your hair looks and the way your make up looks. Next, I want to say how much I love you! I think you keep it real! I feel like if I met you in real life that we would be friends. You’re video here was very cool! Such neat memories that you shared! Take care of yourself Abby
I beg u to do a dance to killer queen by mad Tsai i think it would be so cool as group dance (also love the vid, been a fan of u for years now, you helped me stay motivated to dance)
Me again lol I literally explain to my kids so many times of how much work it is from going to buy it from getting it back out to cook for hours and they sit eat and done in 5 mins. Drives me nuts!! You look fabulous like always!!❤ #youinspireme #iprayimeetyou
@@isabellatoro6656 lol, those mediocre crybabies and their trash mothers made a CHOICE to go to her studio. I know you're going to say "tHey hAd COnTraCtS drrrrr" but they were students at her studio for 8, 9, 10 years BEFORE the show started. They waited until the cameras showed up before they played the professional victim card.
Totally get the bread thing, also people say freeze it so I do but then it is only good for toast. Eating out all the time where I live would be super expensive and it's deffinetly a lot less common here in NZ takeout is more like a once a week thing. Food prices here are very crazy and it's ridiculous that our countries biggest market globally is our meat and dairy yet kiwis have to pay top dollar for meats and milk for instance we pay close to $4 a litre of milk here when I was in Aussie they paid $1 for 3 litres of NZ milk . It's wrong that our government has it's own people struggling to buy food because it's so expensive so they can sell it cheap and in bulk over seas I can assure you our homeless and poverty stricen population probably would dramatically decrease if our prices for the food we make in our own country would match the prices over seas buyer get it for
I hope you all enjoyed this more personal video! Would you like to see more?? Let me know!!! Thank you all for your support! #ALDCALWAYS
It is amazing! #ALDCALWAYS

In those days , in Scotland anyway, most people had the same routine for meals in a week - the same seven meals on the same nights every week.
I hate cooking too!! Your mom’s recipes sound good!
Such a fun and good video!!

Youre glowing ab! Love the earrings
My mom used to put the tomato soup on the top of stuffed peppers too…and meatloaf. Thanks for sharing Abby, that was fun!

I feel you. I thought I was the only one who thought like that. Sometimes, it’s just easier to eat out.😁
