get a loop turner for turning straps!! they're a few bucks at a craft store but superrr helpful for straps! another thing i like to do it use a safety pin too, i'll pin it to one end and feed it through the entire loop!
Hello there, great questions, so I wouldn't incorporate an elastic material, I would just add an elastic band in the waist covered with the same material as the pants are... just like you have it in your PJs or sweatpants. 🌸 With that said, I would have to make the area around the hips whiter (usually it's nice to make it 1/3 bigger) so that then I would be able to add that elastic band and put the pants up and down. I hope that makes sense and that I explained it okey ☺️
