Because I often need blood tests to monitor a health condition, I use small heat bags held to my elbow creases by a wide elastic band and drive to the testing centre. The elastic keeps the heat bags held so I can drive safely and the heat together with good hydration means an easier blood withdrawal. ❤️from Australia 🇦🇺.
My Grandmother and mother would use an old sheet, tear strips, and use it in my hair. I have very long hair. I love the way my hair holds the curl all day long.
My heart melted when I saw Blondie..❤ My daughter introduced me to your RUclips channel and instantly became hooked! I knew after adoring your beautiful Blondie that I just had to have my very own Blondie. 🤍 Xx
Bless Blondie. I know she is missed. I loved this video and shared it with my youngest daughter. She is anxious to try to heatless hair curling technique!
I've only been following your videos for a short time but I am very glad that I got a chance to meet Blondie. I love seeing her and better times pop up in your videos. ❤❤❤
Your hair is gorgeous! I made your toiletries roll for all my girlfriends for their birthdays. I included a nice set of makeup brushes. They absolutely loved them. Thank you for the ideas!
When I was young (years ago) my Mum used to put white cotton strips in my hair to make ringlets, she did both me and my sisters hair for school and going on holiday, there was 4 years between us but she dressed us the same. Xx
Laying in bed with my curling devices my bff made me from your channel. She put them in a gorgeous bag she sewed up. I bake for her and she makes me nice items.
Hi! Dainty from way down in TASMANIA. I am 70 years old and you have taught me lots of new and easy projects I can use my scrap fabric for. Love how easy you make things to understand. Your videos sure do inspire me to get sewing again.
Aww Blondie, the feels !! After seeing you first use the Hair tool I bought one from Amazon - actually had to buy two, first time, someone opened the envelope and stole the first set leaving a pair of Earrings thankfully behind. Once I got the replacement I used it on a day when I had an evening Wedding Reception, washing my hair in the morning, putting in the Hair Curler and taking it out once I was dressed so it could be styled. My hair looked fabulous and I'll enjoy using this set over and over.
I always look forward to Thursday to see you and your bubbly personality! Also looking forward to the Sunday gardening videos to commence! Have a lovely week, Catherine!
Love the simple hair curling roll - healthier than heat and the curls (yours) look awesome! Never thought of using fabric pads but what a great idea and so much better than throwing yet another thing into the landfill - on the list! Thanks Catherine for the inspiration!
oh I need to make those little warmers...my hands are always freezing! I bought some sweet pea seeds the other day, your Sunday vid really inspired me to get sowing 😊😊
I have a friend who is retiring in June. You have given me some great ideas of things I could make her as a gift since I'm sure she'll be doing a lot of traveling! 😊
Am I the only one who pause the beginning of the Dainty Videos, gets their cuppa, and then watches the same sewing episodes repeatedly, while sewing along 💚🌿
Thank you again for these very useful great little projects ❤. These are not only great and inexpensive for oneself but also for gifting! I need to say that my heart skipped a beat when I saw Blondie though 😢.
That hair curler looked so cute on you lol. That satin fabric might be better stitched with a zigzag stitch to reduce fraying. My son bought me your book for Christmas and I love just flicking through it- it's such a visual treat x
Hello from San Antonio, TX!! 😃🤗 My Aunt Deborah recently gifted me a sewing machine that she had given to my Mawmaw (grandmother) before she died. However my grandmother barely used it. Her dementia was too advanced. So this would be wonderful to be able to make my own crafts and think of her. Thank you so much for your inspiring videos!
Dear Catherine, could you please add measurements in the metric system? That would be awesome... Received my first sewing machine last week, can't wait to get startet with your lovely beginners projects... Lots of love from Cologne, Germany
Yep I need to start sewing again. Love your idea. Tip. When trying to root out the corners in fabrics use a closed scissors to poke them on the inside.
Great video... you make these projects look fun & easy. Share Tips: 1. I cut the top area of a small plastic bottle, turn upside down to use for filling. 2. The hair curler... this looks fanatic. I'd try using a piece of batting, pulling it through with bodkin or safety pin. I've been playing with using batting instead of stuffing for some projects. In the event stuffing isn't available, but batting it, I've already tested out this way. Keep making your fun sewing videos!
I’m extremely new to your channel. I can’t wait until I have time to binge watch some of your older vlogs. Currently sat at my sewing machine about to start making the makeup remover pads . You’ve inspired me to use up my scraps of fabric 🥰
I used an entire bag of rice, a long while back for my toasty toe bag. Then I made another same size for my neck. I also sewed up a flannel pillowcase for each one. I can wash the flannel over & over. It's perfect for neck & toes. I fall asleep with them so often (2 minutes in the microwave) the lavender is long gone & the rice has degraded but they keep working perfectly.
Love your ideas, I enjoyed this video very much. You have such great ideas and they all give me great encouragement to do more. I appreciate you sharing all your ideas. Your videos are fun to watch, and look forward to watching them alot. Thank you for sharing your great ideas.
You are adorable! Love the projects. I am just getting started sewing and I already made the little handwarmer! Can't wait to try the other projects. Thanks girl!

A little tip for the patchwork, press the seams in opposite direction on each row then the seams will nest together where the squares meet.😘
Yasssss! I’ve been waiting for this hair tutorial for ages I always love how your hair looks❤
