My absolute favorite subscription I’ve ever had is definitely RUclips premium-no having to deal with breaks in the content. We don’t have cable anymore (can’t tolerate commercials anymore) and we do have Netflix. Other than that, no other subscriptions.
I’m a midwesterner and I love a perspective that does not center “being frugal” cuz I’m not really frugal either but that’s what’s valued here so you get a lot of messages that you are “wrong” to not be frugal.
I totally get where you're coming from- it's not a popular way of thinking to not be frugal

It was truly a blessing to be apart of Johnson Family of 15!!!! My Parent believe in & taught people how to live debt-free life!! They loved God & believe that God will supply the needs of our very large family!!! They created a farm & taught how to live off the land. My Father was a very smart man being a mechanic, tax preparer, builder of homes, building & repairing tractors. My Mother was a Financial Genius!!! She would buy property and sale to those who need it the most!!! My parent main focus was giving to our community!!!! We fed the elderly every Sunday at our home!!! Giving out of our farm on daily basis!!! Working with the teen & single moms with free daycare!!! They believe in the important of education!!!
For me being frugal just means that I spend as little as possible on things that I don’t care about. I do love to read so I do buy books, I like my hobbies (all kind of crafting) so I spend on things for that, I love to go to the theater and concerts so I spend on those things as well, but when it comes to clothes, makeup, food, eating out, traveling etc I don’t really spend much on that and I always try to do these things as cheaply as possible.
Airline miles don’t accumulate for the average traveler flying. You get miles from sign up bonuses of new credit cards.
Are you investing for retirement? I’m in my 50’s and regretting not having started doing so sooner.

Frugal and tightwad are 2 different things. Frugal simply means economical. What's economical, or frugal for you, may be different for me, may be different for Trump, depending on income, values, and goals.
