OMG i need this video so much. I'm in this loop where i feel like i need to listen to my body and respect my energy level...But I also feel like if I get back into a consistent workout schedule, I would gain back some of that energy i lost from burnout. (I didn't get burnout from exercise btw. More with work and extra-curricular activities and life). I normally easily work out 3-4 x a week when I dont have time and often 5-6 when I'm at my best. I have ADHD and exercise is so vital for me to strive. But after a particularly nutty year of a LOT of accomplishments that I'm so proud of, I burned out mid December. And I fell asleep every time I sat down. I couldn't keep my eyes open. The problem is the head and heart wants to and still enjoys all the things and is engaged. But its very disconnected from the body. And after over a year of extreme high-productivity, my body finally did what it needed to do to get the other two to pay attention and give it the rest it needs. I'm looking forward to finding balance and getting my energy and gusto back.

Hi there 😀 Great to see your comment on here 🙏 I am sorry you are going through burnout! Yes you are right, respecting your energy level right now is really important in all life areas, especially exercise. Your nervous system needs nurturing and too much of the wrong exercise can add to the fatigue at this point. But yes you do need to do exercise and movement though! If you need further coaching on this email me info@vanessabhealth.com for the Burnout to Freedom exercise program ✨️💪🧘🏻‍♀️ The perfect balance of movement to strengthen and nurture you all at the same time and aid the overall healing process. You are doing great in recognizing all that you are going through! Hope to hear of your story some more. Reach out if you need anything ✅️🫶😀 PS I also have adhd, discovered this last year so I understand exactly what you mean with needing exercise and in general how this affects life ✨️

The old "everything in moderation" adage is still relevant in this day and age - maybe more so now than ever. Your videos and your accompanying instruction, plus all the other facets of physical/mental health culture that you embrace and advocate are so appreciated by your fans who follow you on your journey. Thanks for addressing the realities and hurdles that people have to contend with, the consequences of "too much" as well as "not enough": time, work, sleep, food, exercise, joy, self reflection, introspection, family, loneliness and all the other aspects of life that we often times struggle to deal with. Nobody is exempt and it's a juggling act that can make you wonder it it's even worth all the effort. You, Vanessa, are teaching us that it's ok to pump the brakes now and then in order to better balance our psyche. Our real selves.Too try and make sense of it all. I applaud you for confronting these issues that people are reluctant to discuss. Thank goodness for you! You inspire people to make health a top priority; life without health and joy is just existing, so we (and you) must safeguard our most precious possession!

Thank you so much for your comment, really appreciate it Steve 🙌 People do have so much going on in life and yes pumping the brakes is so important so we do not burn out ! Being true to ourselves and our capacities and then working on that is the key to health in my opinion💪⚡I hope this is helpful because honestly my own journey has not been perfect or on track in life or in fitness :) It's always a work in progress 🏆I applaud you for being open to these videos and being on the same wavelength here ;) Thank you and I hope to continue helping you and others⚡
