It's one thing to ride solo but another to ride with a crew. Hell yeah
I'm in a a crew of 4 and it's the best. Definitely beats going solo.
i like solo when i use to ride with 4 to 6 i would always get hurt

you only get wobbles if you have a shit setup
they're not getting wobbles due to that stance they're pulling off. they put all their weight onto the front of the board, reducing the chances of getting speed wobbles.
honestly, if you have no problems going down a huge ass hill at 60/70 mph....than you probably don't fear anything..like at all.

When a longboarder sees someone wobble *gulp*
I've noticed you guys ride in a diagonal stance and steer to the inside with the back foot, I never go so fast so I wanted to know if this isn't too unstable or does the short stance compensate the wobbles. Awesome video as always!
We steer toeside corners with the back foot. It's not unstable and it makes turning toeside a lot easier. A lot of people think all turning comes from the front, but this is not correct. The front foot mainly does heelside turning. But its a good obsevation on your part and a good question.

+Crunchie So by that you mean that you have a bit more even weight distribution on your feet? Or do you still have a mainly front foot weight distribution and so prevent speed-wobbles?
When turning we usually have fairly even weight distribution on both feet. But if we're tucking for a while we often lock our back knee into our front leg, but thats more about stopping our legs from getting tired

Watching with envy, 50 years old now, still got a skateboard but got funny looks last time I went out on it about 8 years ago. Miss the hills did them all back in the late 70s/ 80s dont think I would have the bottle now. Enjoyed watching you guys having all the fun and dont stop before you know it the time has gone.

You know what I was looking at longboard decks last night then came back and saw your comment. Im gonna do it just hope I dont fall and end up off work lol. Turned 50 think Im going through a midlife crisis lol, just bought weights today, been on a low carb diet for the last 4 weeks and doing very well and feeling great, maybe I could use this as extra excersise and why not. Im inspired guys :)

If you are going 50 mph on a longboard you will become really lightweight and a pebble most likely wouldn't be a problem

I think that they wear gloves on there hands and sort of turn the board sideways and drag their hand on the ground to slow down. (Not sure, this is just roughly what I've seen others do)

Road rash is a bitch, at these speeds it can rip through a limb.
ive seen videos of them getting up to as fast as 70 mph, imagine falling off a motorcycle or out of a car going 70 with just a helmet and some knee pads on and maybe some gloves... you would probably die that helmet isn't saving your life for shit at that speed. ive gotten road rash from bicycle accidents that ruined my month. I cant even imagine being skilled enough to do something like this.. they either are extremely good and confident or they just don't give a fuck and are going balls to the wall through life...

I love sports that force you to live in the moment and only allow thinking of ONE thing for a while. It is the danger, or perceived danger, that forces the mind to the focus of a pinpoint. I believe this sort of focus is healthy for the mind and the body, assuming of course you don't eat sh!t too hard.
