- Lillian wanted to share all the fun he had on this amazing roads. He spend cool time in Swiss with his folks Ben Pellet and Brian Scott Adkins who record this clip!

Why does everything look so beautiful in Switzerland. Even the grass look like they have mowed down perfectly.

This is great. As a cyclist, I always thought the sk8 community was sooo commercial. Love seeing the raw pleasure again. I'm 60, but damn, I wanna do that!

;) 63 y/o, here. We're sooo old, we were doing extreme sports long before it was cool, and long before there were sponsors.
Hang gliding, early versions of wing suits, climbing mountains, skiing, surfing, scuba and skin diving... and much more besides. ;)
Me 50. Only thing holding me back is that miami has no hills or mountains
Saying the skate community is "sooo commercial" as a cyclist is kind of ridiculous. Both sports require you to purchase equipment. They aren't any more or less commercial than any other hobby you can't enjoy without purchasing a piece of equipment

just fyi to people learning , when you fall going 25% of this speed your skin on your body basically melts when it its that road
You just have to careful, and don't make it seem so crazy. It's not. Everyone can do those hills with enough practice.

Not just that but if you wear a jean jacket or leather you walk away with maybe a broken bone and a few bruises it’s not that bad
Ian Gamboa true aha I wore a singlet bombing hills and tore open my side, arms and back but later on wore a motorcycle jacket at a faster speed and came out mostly unscathed.

This Video was a tipping point that pushed me into buying my 1st board and learning how to ride it.. 2 years later im still far from lilian skill but damn was it a journey

The helmet is clearly to help with airspeed and flow-
The lack of anything else,be it pads, gaurds or even a leather suit , demonstrates without exception that he is not going to crash on that board- no matter what happens.
Absolute and total faith.

It gives me the idea that he may have done that road several times with full protection first. Then took it off for the video.
nnr2d m the helmet also helps as he is going really fast, so the eye guard thing prevents his eyes from drying, distracting him and possibly putting him in danger, it also helps in case a pebble flies up as you can see a couple cars pass him, and if a pebble hit him in the face when he’s going that speed, you’re looking at possible stitches (my cousin had this happen to her when she was motor biking without a helmet)
And experience

Not in Switzerland.
From my experience, even some big pebbles just bounce off, bigger wheels are nice like that.

Nah, I've skated with long coats and such. Provided it doesn't actually reach your ankles you should be fine.

@@jjjj_111 Also don't think he is actually going over the speed limit. I think his speed is 80-100 kph tops, the speed limit is probably in the same range.

I’m 74 and witnessed the birth of the skateboard but never got into it out of fear.
A guy in the hills of Pasadena got his arm torn up by a car bumper ( when cars use to have those big metal things on the front and back) that he got too close to doing about fifty mph . That totally freaked me out and so now i just admire the mad skills of guys like you in videos.
