I remember when AWA ALL-STAR WRESTLING finally premiered on WFTS Channel 28 on Sundays at 11am in Tampa in 1987 or 1988. I, at 12 or 13 yrs old, "told" my Dad, that I would not be attending Sunday "morning" services, until further notice. He said that I was worshipping Wrestling over The Lord. My response was, that I would not be attending ONLY Sunday MORNINGS. I was still going to attend Sunday night and Wednesday night services. That was one of the first times, that I can recall, that he let me make the call. I'm not saying it was the right call, but, what it taught me was that The Lord allows us to make our own. "CALL, or JUDGMENT. " However, HE makes THE FINAL CALL on JUDGMENT DAY.
I agree with everything you've said. I don't believe you have to practice religion if you just speak with your mind and soul that's all that should count. I'm sure this clip represents an example of countless lives that people live with today. This is pure soul searching. Love this clip of Sting.

They always say there's guys in wrestling who are 'born-again' just for the publicity and another shot at the big time. Seeing Buff Bagwell in this video, that was my first thought of him.
Thank GOD someone (you) have something positive to say. I think some people have issues themselves. But besides that I've always liked sting his personality character the time in the crow era when he was alone in the rafters connected with me. It's sorta like your fighting a battle of loneliness or evil of some kind, but seeing him demonstrate how his life was touched me, too see how he has connected with god has made me think more about it. That there is something there and u won't walk alone.
I believe the show Alcatraz had one character with a rather fantastic quote in regards to religion and spirituality... "Religion is for those seeking reward. Spirituality is for those seeking understanding." That quote sums up religion perfectly. The only reason people take religion too far and follow the Bible too literally is because they want to be rewarded. They believe that by accepting the ghost man in the sky that they'll be rewarded with great things and eternal life in heaven.
