@@Thatgirl694 the fuk, it's not literally just look at the Wikipedia page, lol. And the origin of the name, it came to Latin America because of arab immigrants.
“Mediterranean?” Isn’t this like calling Pizza “European” or “mediterranean” instead of italian? Or sushi “Asian” instead of Japanese? Apart from the Halloumi cheese, this is a typical regional levantine arabic breakfast. The term “mediterranean” is today often used (by israelis and repeated by americans) to deliberately or out of ignorance to ignore the arabic component , culture and history of the region, allowing Israel which is only a 76 yr old creation, to embed itself into a culture and Rich history they are not a part of. Because if it is not specific then anyone can claim it correct? Zaatar, labneh, hummus, falafel, foul, knafeh etc. While eaten elsewhere and found in various variations, are widely recognized as belonging to the arabic kitchen and more specifically the levantine arabic kitchen. So please stop using the term “mediterranean” and start being more specific like “levantine arabic” or “mediterranean arabic” food.

I love when they say Mediterranean and as a Spanish I've NEVER eaten any of these for breakfast, neither they sell halloumi (just in posh supermarkets for 5 euros lol).
Right, i'm from Portugal and never seen a breakfast like that here, either.
And we don't eat olives for breakfast around here, we use it more for starters or apetizers.
Maybe she refers to other countries in Meditarrean Sea. Based on Wikipedia, it seems Halloumi is from Cyprus and it's in the Mediterranean Sea.
I think it's a Lebanese breakfast, which is a Mediterranean country but like, leave the rest of us out of it. Talk about your culture and your country, why do you have to make it about an entire region
There's a commentary below and it says it's like a Turkish breakfast. So maybe it's from various countries in the region.
El mediterraneo es bastante grande, los españoles nos podemos quedar con el pan tumaca y las porras con chocolate bien contentos.

do you know where it’s from by any chance ?
for my entire life i grew up eating labne everyday and thought it was some Turkishified cream cheese, I had no idea it was a traditional Mediterranean breakfast food item lmao
Labne is an Arabic word lol, it’s just Arab food in general.
We rather call it sürme peyniri in Türkiye 😂
@@napoleon3648 hiç duymadım öyle dendiğini, hep labne diye satıyorlar, en azından İstanbul ve Ankara'da
@@eavocado5890pppj Labne is mexican
@@Thatgirl694 the fuk, it's not literally just look at the Wikipedia page, lol. And the origin of the name, it came to Latin America because of arab immigrants.
I’m Indian but I’m droooooooling even without tasting. What a healthy and yummy platter it is! ❤
So far, I’ve only seen a few of your RUclips shorts…I’m hooked. Everything looks so delicious
Jews are from the Levant you ding dong
Looks amazing
This looks so delicious I love savory over sweet so will definitely make this. Thanks for sharing!❤❤
Moon drop grapes are so sweet.
That's mostly midle eastern because usually we eat sweet stuff with coffee 😂😂😂
My favorite childhood breakfast! All that’s missing is foul (Fava beans) and ze pickles 😂❤
Whats that seasoning? After oil
