Great job on the detail PJ! The results on the Vette turned out great and the paint correction is top notch. I also absolutely love that coating. We share similar opinions on it. My full review is dropping soon. ;)
@@eddiepr2730 Pan broke the news that the world largest ceramic coatings manufacturer is now offering factory direct prices on their best coating they make
Thanks for posting this review on the new Cerakote Pro coating. Would be interested in seeing some follow up videos after one year on a daily driver. Curious to learn how it performs in areas with hard water.
I've just started detailing in OC and I can't wait to get my first ceramic coating customer out here, the market and products are so different compared to Europe, but I'm all for it! Great video, made me really happy with my purchase.
Great video! I have used the older Cerakote trim coat / restoration product, and it is the ONLY type I use for bumpers/rubber of daily drivers. I am looking forward to trying their paint ceramic coating next!
Would love to see another video on that other car you mentioned to see water behaviour etc. I’ve been waiting for a review on this, pretty sure yours is the only ‘non marketing’ one out there
Final product Looks killer !!! Had my BL Continental done with Ceramic Pro and it was great the first year or 2 but after that it def lost its slickness / hydrophobicness and needed to be gone over again . Glad to see a company putting out quality product instead of worrying about how much they can make off it . Will keep this is mind next time I get mine done …
Great video. Im curious to see how this holds up over time and torture. I saw a video earlier on another site poo pooing this product after his questionable " torture test". I also wonder if you could stack another product on top of this.
Coated an SUV with this product last week. Finally got around to its first wash today. The beading was as good or better than any coating Ive used . Car was super glossy too. The only issue is that you use way more product than Im used to . I can normally get 2 cars out of a 30ml bottle . But with this , i went through a full bottle and a small portion of the second bottle.
Thanks for the upload, the Vette looks immaculate. I'm a massive fan of Carpro Essence. In your experience can Essence be used as a primer for any ceramic coating?
@@insefc Hi, using the product like others would apply the same. You’ll see it fade on the suede so just add more and keep spreading it out. I also tried it on my windows it spread out in a rainbow effect with a light on it. It came off with ease after 5 mins. A little goes a long way!
Thanks for the video. Jealous of ur polisher game I just ordered the milwakee 15 DA gna start with that one. Also I have had same bob Marley flag when I was a kid. Now I wanna find where it is what a throw back. I typically am just going to detail and coat my family and my cars. 18 crv, beater 2010 corolla amd. A 2023 s580. What would u suggest to get next for polisher? The long next rupes?
Great video. I'm in the process of buying a new car and plan on using this product. Do you recommend doing paint correction or skip that step in the detailing process on a new car?
Just curious as I just watched a torture test on this coating and had high hopes for it. Was the applicator hard after some time when applying this coating?
No. With cqurtz it's like a rock...but with xpel it's also soft like this...so not sure what to make of that. I have a feeling this coating is not going to be as scratch resistant. I will end up using dqurtz and SIC still on daily drives that see a lot of abuse.
@@bryanl1039 you didnt reach out correctly then. Call them and they’ll tell you to send an email with photos. They won’t even look if you didnt call them first.
Yeah. My $.02 is its holding up OK. I have it on my truck on a fender, also have Dqurtz topped with SIC on one and Xpel premium on one. It's still sheading water but not beading. I would put car pro ahead of it. If you have a show car that you only wash a couple times a year I would say cerakote is the go to. Highest gloss and sickness but it's not holding up like the 500 wash video. I have alot to say about that video. First off it's really juat one big wash not 500 washes over a year or two. Also was the soap a ceramic specific soap or something like the average consumer will use? Overall for the money it's a 7.5 out of 10 but did not make the cut for daily drivers leaving my shop.
@@go46ball Thanks, I was going to apply it, but now I don't know if it is worth all the prep for this kind of durability. I hope that only the beading is lost after the first wash and the coating would last at least 18 months, but I highly doubt it.
Go watch my shorts. I think for a show car or something that only gets washed 2-5 times a year it's a great option. For a daily driver in the midwest I say...probably not.
Yeah really depends on curing. I juat coated this vett with carpro haha. But I will say, the test pannel on my truck with Cerakote is doing surprisingly well after 20 washes.
Nice buying factory direct from Cerakote @ $60 for (2) 30ml bottles - Not this $150 BS from others that offer nothing more. - They truly turned the whole industry on its butt. $25 clay lubes ?? $25 water spot removers ?? $150+ ceramic coatings ??......come on !!

True test will be long-term durability for those of us who live in the salt belt with brutal winters.
I just installed this on a Tahoe for a customer at a dealership….super slick, nice hydrophobic properties….its a winner

Yes
Awesome video! I used the Carpro suede applicator and saved more than half a bottle on a Sudan full size vehicle. Cheers!
Hi, I'm about apply the coating. I have 2 cars and 2 bottles. If I use block plus suede, is the effect and quality of application still be as good?

Still needs it
Did you apply it on the glass as well?
Car came out great man!!! I know this was recently introduced, but what is the price on the Ceramic bottles?
currently, $60 for 2 bottles, but its limited so hurry
Did your applicator harden after using it?
I got mine last week but nothing to put it on

Just got mine today. Haven’t had a chance to use it yet. I was disappointed because my bottles leaked. The car came out very nice
send a photo to them, they will replace them
Mine also leaked. I reached out the day it arrived, like 10 days ago, and still no response.

How does it hold up after washing? Some folks are noticing that the beading doesn’t hold up well…
Go watch my shorts. I have some videos. But ya. It's doing alright.
Which applicator pad are you using? Does the coating come with it?
Yeah the one it came with.
That's an autofiber mini-saver applicator. The best of all of them IMO. My kit came with one.
Better deep gloss cerakote vs CarPro?
Coin flip. I do think UK with SIC on top is the winner.
Commercials show s no buffer when using.
