Figured since its been a while and theres been enough changed, I'd give an update. All new options menu. Showing off some of the unlock-able items too.
@Myles Millionz everyone in mania will be playable here. I've adjusted their movesets to match manias for consistency. Fang being the only addition not in mania. There are a few unlockables too, but I won't spoil it :)
I just noticed the new updates on the thread on Sonic Retro. Hard to believe i've been following this project for years now, i'm to finishing College now. The game is looking amazing, and Karl's original soundttack is sick! Good job, congratulations for your new family!

The footage could be cleaner and more comfortable to look at.
huh, I didn't know about part 2, I just wanted play the first one because of nice 16bit Ke$ha cover, and I still listening it. But sad that fact I found out about siquel only now and thx, for your work, "Sonic Classic" was my first sonic game but I was playing like in 20fps maybe) then I was like 10 years old, but in 2014 I was really enjoyed it. I hope this game will be great, good luck with work ;)
Kinda of jealous as I had a similar idea to take title cards from the previous sonic games and have you select your favorite, but you went a bit further then what I had planned which is amazing and now feels weird to do it myself. Lol. Glad this game is not dead in the water it feels like its been 5 years since it was announced
Go for it man! I didn't copyright the idea. Whatever makes your game shine, you do it. Also never be afraid to borrow ideas from others. It's all about the experience of the game.

HezMan2000 so does selecting game mode restore the controls to said game? like if you have it set to Sonic 1 you cant spin dash? And Sonic 3 gives you the double jump ability? OR does it also give that interface? Im super impressed and are glad you are back!~
No, it does not reset the controls. Those are changable in another section. Basically a gameplay style selection. E.G. Sonic 1 would have nothing, Sonic 2 mode would have spindash, etc.
