Originally I planned to make my own video for this, but it was simply too much work to do in one day so I crumbled LOL. Plus the original art is sooooo showstopping, I'm absolutely obsessed with it and I would not have been able to top it, even being the mega pixel artist that I am 😎
My friend ShiShiShiena recently sent this song to me and said it reminded her of me, so that was the nail in the after school coffin so to speak. It hadn't really resonated with me when I first listened to it, although I appreciated the video alot. After looking into the translation tho... Wowie Zowie.
I interpret it as either 1. It's like a monika reference and this girl is alive in an actual computer, which couLD BE THE CASE!
Or, more likely in my opinion, the technological aspect is more or less a metaphor. She feels like a girl in a dating simulator and while actually being best girl, she doesn't get treated like it for real.
We also see some weird characteristics from her, such as some light stalking, a little bit of gas lighting when she gets caught watching mr.man, and then near the end it seems like she got a specific job just to be closer to him somehow. On some "Oh I didn't know you lived right beside this maid cafe wtf" vibes.
Alas, she's super duper cute so I'm not hating. She ends up giving up on this dood, or in the very least, not pursuing him at the moment, which is probably for the best.
With my analytical speech done and dusted,
some of the typography in this is just not synced up and I tried my best but it is what it is. The lyrics are kind of hard to make out from audio alone, for me anyway, so i felt it was necessary to add subtitles to this one. It took me a while to set it up lol but I'm content with the product.
And finally, the lyrics themselves are a little loose, not anymore than normal I'd say, but loose nonetheless. I used a handful of phrases that... Are not very common anywhere i know of LOL but the words together form sentences that do convey the events at hand.
