this is my favorite song at the moment and i just wanted to say both lyrically and vocally you killed it!! i tried singing it a bit earlier, and it's a challenge for sure - i really admire your skill! i especially love the internal rhymes from 1:06 ! thank you for making this :]
weirdly enough it feels like youre singing the song in the correct pitch as opposed the original?? there's smth weird abt the original one which i cant place my finger on but your cover scratches that itch for me, i can finally listen to this song. keep up the good work, your voice is great!
Honestly I feel that too and I'm unsure why! Because the notes are correct in the original, I know there's a musical phenomenon where your brain can hear melodies better if the instrumental is pitched and I'll bet that's what it is LOL But nonetheless, I'm really happy you like it. Thank you for listening to me
This is probably an evil question and you won't see it but I'm trying to make an English version with your lyrics using teto but like.... how Did you manage to skip a syllable in "a warped identity" and have it still sound good because it's killing me (to do in synthv)
@@PS1DemoDisk nahh no evil questions LOL midi is so hard to get to sound like vocals Honestly, I'm pretty sure that I just said "Warped" as if it was 1 single syllable. For visual reference, I think it's something like this: 👏A 👏warped 👏I 👏den 👏teh 👏tee For the actual midi notes i think you could break it down phonetically like, "A warp die dent it tee" or something lol. Hope this helps!
@@HarukoSan it's a little confusing on how to explain because it's more of a visual thing but ... visually in the midi it goes "a warped" skipped syllable "I-den-ti-ty" and no matter how I shift things it's that single skipped syllable that doesn't work, and I can't even find a way to even add an extra single syllable word to fill it. If I stretch the "a" out by one "-" the a sound is too long, if i stretch "warped" it's too long, if I try to move "identity" back one and do "- + + +" it doesn't sound right I'd offer you the svp to look at yourself but I dunno how I'd get it to you anyway cause you left most socials last I checked (and it's not the prettiest svp if I'm honest) This isn't a problem you've caused by the way so I hope it doesn't read like I think that, i just wasn't sure if you knew exactly what you stretched out in order for it to sound... normal. I guess the problem is you're too good 😭
@@PS1DemoDisk ooh synth v is a torturous place to be omg. After listening to that part I'm wondering if maybe i kind of combined the next line into that one. "A warped identity, I" like I put that "i" in that phrase. Even if I didn't necessarily cause this LOL I'd still like to help ☠️☠️ synth v really kills me LOL But "a warped identity I >>> feel it's he who's real" Like the next line starts with Real and not I.
Really good!!! Was wondering though. Is this translation accurate or is it your interpretation so that it fit the beat a little better? Just wondering since they differ from the subtitles and translations I've found and I'm not sure how that works.
For me, it's impossible to ever sing a direct translation. So when I'm writing lyrics based on a translation, I try to keep the meaning of each line in the exact same place, while rephrasing it in a way that rhymes and isn't too wordy to sing! That's my process for every cover I do basically. Sometimes I do lose some of the intended meanings, sometimes I purposefully tweak something to be more relatable to me, but I always try to retain the original message line by line at least! Thanks for watching ^^!
@@HarukoSan Thank you for such a quick answer!!! Honestly I was looking to cover this song and get into singing so I was kind of wondering if it was normal for people to change lyrics if necessary and etc since a direct translation is probably impossible to sing lol. Wasn't sure if you had a more accurate version or how much manipulation I should allow and all so I appreciate the insight!!!
I record with an atb2020+ usb microphone! i mix in adobe audition, and I typically record vocals in my bedroom. I've recorded in cars, closets, under tables with blankets, in cardboard boxes with sound panels, and a whole host of other places but right now, just in my room in my apartment lol. Thanks for asking and I hope it helps ^^
I love it when I find a cover channel with the same music taste as me. The euphoria
