About this video:
In this video Yaro from Aviator Inspirations talks about how do you become an airline captain. How to become an airline pilot in canada is a common question from young aviators, and in this video you will learn how to become a captain. I'll cover how many flight hours to become a captain, how long to become a captain pilot, and airline pilot training. How to become an airline pilot is a common question, so hopefully this video answers your questions about how to become a pilot!
Let me know what age you became a Captain for the first time?
I was 32
That’s awesome 💪🏻! What aircraft where you on?
Captain, thank you for your videos that really help me a lot.👍🏻🤝
Happy to hear that 🙂. Let me know if you have other questions!
What books would you recommend to pass the exams (in the Uk)
Great to hear you are working again after all the layoffs. How were you able to get back to flying, it seems there are no postings advertised? I am doing another survey season again
Yes I’ve been back to work for 2years now, and Canada is in a huge pilot shortage so you basically have the pick of any company. What country are you in?
Hey! Thank you for your videos can I ask you what books you can recommend
All training books are provided during your groundschool. In Canada, here are the main 2.

I have a question. How do you manage your sleep time with the roster shift? Esp if you have to wake up at 3am and have sufficient amount of sleep.
With difficulty and lots of planning! I’ll make a video about it, it’s a great topic and I can cover it in depth that way 👌🏻
@@AviatorInspirations that will be great thank you 👍🏼🙏🏼
I just remembered I already have a video on fatigue, which covers sleep tips. Let me know if it’s helpful or if you have additional questions.

I didn't hear you talking about it, but I thought John Wick style was a requirement into going Capt. of the 737max, is it! Haha On the serious side, how do you explain the explosion of numbers of direct entry captains openings lately? Direct entry pilots was a very rare, almost none existent before.
Haha it’s the un-official requirement 😜.
Direct entry Captain spots happen for 2 reasons. 1: there aren’t enough qualified FO’s internally, and 2: new airlines starting that need both, Captains and FO’s, and captains are always harder to find. So how they get them is from other companies using attractive working conditions. That’s how I went into my direct entry positions. Staying at my old company I would have had to wait another 5-7yrs to get to the left seat.
congrats! Yaro
Thanks Keith 🙂
Dude I always thought you’re in your 20s 😂👊🏽
Hahaha much appreciated 😁!! I got tired of hearing “are you old enough to fly this plane” 🤦🏻
I want to become one InshaAllah , where should I study ?
Canada or US
I am a Nigerian and I wish to relocate to canada, my dream has always been to be a pilot… there’s so many challenges presently cos I don’t know how to start off my flying career because I have no knowledge or experience with flights but I’d succeed at the end of the day.
You have come to the right channel! I have an international pilots video that will help with the steps for international students. Otherwise you can immigrate to Canada first, and then get permanent residency, then start flight training.
Lol experience a toll of low pay years
The real life game of snakes and ladders is not for the faint of heart lol
@@AviatorInspirations that's exactly what I've done! Immigrate, train, fly! (money saved upfront 🙄)
Awesome! If you can keep your student loans low, that’s the goal
Get A Haircut!
Why?
Don’t forget to shave and get a haircut…. :)
