My personal favorites would be the studio that animeted the boondocks (seen this style in many other things) and the studio that did the skater kid segment in Animatrix (again seen the style in other things this is just of the top of my head

The main character ayumu really pissed me off at the start all she cared about was her crush and how nana-(I forgot the rest of her name sorry lol) was acting. But she kinda grew up when she was stuck in the raft, especially when she killed that bird and the fish for her brother. To be honest, it’s like 4 in the morning and I’m crying over an anime that at this point could happen. Also, now I have a survival tips board on Pinterest. Anyway the anime was great! Yeah I saw TM 8.0 for the first time before seeing JS 2020. The twist at the end of TM 8.0 destroyed me. Wasn't expecting that ending at all. Broke me for 2 days. Luckily JS 2020 wasn't that devastating as TM 8.0.
I watched the 10 episodes before I came here and watched the trailer. I'm crying. I'm a Filipino and I'm thankful for the author that she made the mother a pure Filipina and Ayumu a half Filipina and half Japanese and mentioned a lot of things of my country especially in Cebu where I live and also where the mother lives in the series. I'm watching Tokyo Magnitude 8.0. It's pretty good and I recommend it to anyone who's never seen an earthquake anime before. Give it a watch to prepare you for this one.

God this anime was great! I binged watched it today and it was heartbreaking. It hurts even more if you try to put yourself in the characters positions and knew that japan went through a similar situation. It constantly made me cry of relief and sadness.

I watched this NOT expecting to cry. The last two episodes had me balling like a baby.
I just finished it...... (spoilers and sorry for my spelling) bro, the mum was my hero, she should get the mother of the year award lol. The Morse code guy was chill. The main character ayumu really pissed me off at the start all she cared about was her crush and how nana-(I forgot the rest of her name sorry lol) was acting. But she kinda grew up when she was stuck in the raft, especially when she killed that bird and the fish for her brother. To be honest, it’s like 4 in the morning and I’m crying over an anime that at this point could happen. Also, now I have a survival tips board on Pinterest. Anyway the anime was great! I’m probalay les than half awake, so I’m going to bed and rewatching in the morning. Once again sorry for my spelling! ✨😅

Basically ww3 happened in the 80s which caused japan to go bad and impoverished again with lots of oppression from authorities and military group by 2020 (the movie is literally USA rn) Turns out that it really wasn’t an enemy attack on Japan but was a psychic kid that exploded from the experiments that were done to him and became an entity that basically possessed this kid making him into a psychopath and destroying everything he saw

Yeah I saw TM 8.0 for the first time before seeing JS 2020. The twist at the end of TM 8.0 destroyed me. Wasn't expecting that ending at all. Broke me for 2 days. Luckily JS 2020 wasn't that devastating as TM 8.0.
I watched the 10 episodes before I came here and watched the trailer. I'm crying. I'm a Filipino and I'm thankful for the author that she made the mother a pure Filipina and Ayumu a half Filipina and half Japanese and mentioned a lot of things of my country especially in Cebu where I live and also where the mother lives in the series. Thank you so much! I love this story! I love Japan! ❤️

I'm watching Tokyo Magnitude 8.0. It's pretty good and I recommend it to anyone who's never seen an earthquake anime before. Give it a watch to prepare you for this one.

That's a parody of the book from which this anime was adapted. There are also 2 live action film adaptations of this story, and a sequel film (and book).
God this anime was great! I binged watched it today and it was heartbreaking. It hurts even more if you try to put yourself in the characters positions and knew that japan went through a similar situation. It constantly made me cry of relief and sadness.
Finally, a netflix anime original that isn't computer animated.
Just finished the series its 4:57 am and damn that was beautiful.
