As a second year Chiropractic student at Sherman, this video is so refreshing to see. I love your explanations and how easy they’re to understand. Thank you so much for opening my eyes to another prospective of Chiropractic care.
Dr Russ, @ 22:27 this is where 85% of my pain is that I've been dealing with for 3 years ( right side only). I wish I could find someone lile you to work this area who is as knowledgeable 😭
You have an amazing asmr voice. Some additional video ideas to maximize that skill perhaps. (E.g a video where you’re reading or doing your own relaxation exercises while talking.).
Man I have been dealing with shoulder pain + the muscle next to my shoulder blade tightening periodically (same shoulder), causing headaches. If I run a ball on that muscle or someone pushes on it I can feel it shoot up through my shoulder and up through my neck. It feels like a knot, but its the whole muscle that flairs up. Been dealing with it for five years now since my first deployment. Ive gone to so many masseuses and I tell them about my issue and they will only spend like 10-15 minutes treating my shoulder. I feel like your treatment would be the only kind that can resolve my issues because you actually pin point the problem and work on it.
I appreciate that, sir. Your videos have definitely helped me understand more of whats going on. One of your other videos you diagnosed the patient to the T of what Im dealing with--the whole head subconsciously tilting toctry and stretch the muscle, shoulder rolling forward, pressure points in the shoulder, etc. I live in Helena, MT so Im not counting in there being any specialists who do what you do haha. Maybe one day I can make the trip out to have you work on me (even though I know one treatment wouldnt be enough). After five years of dealing with this even the temporary relief would be worth it.
Hey Dr Russ! Another fantastic video. I noticed on this and the last abdominal massage video theres a strange distortion happening. it’s pretty noticeable with any louder speaking voice moments. Just wanted to let you know, unsure as to the culprit
Oh no! What time in the video? I edit these and listen to every one all the way through. Please let me know where the issues are so I can look into it. Thank you for the feedback, I really appreciate it!
Hi please help. I cant brush my hair .. my my scalp / head muscles are in knots and very tender, so is behind my ears and the ears themselves are sore. My neck is stiff and shoulders are numb and tight etc etc I've so much symptoms, but the nerve at the top of my head right in the middle feels compressed/pushed down , could you please tell me what could be causing this ? Thank you
Hello, thank you for your question. I’d be happy to talk to you via zoom. It sounds like this is more than the usual neck and head tension. www.happyspinepdx.com/contact please do reach out. Thank you.
Very nice. I notice that my omohyoid and sternohyoid muscles are often tense, which curiously hampers my voice. When I grab those muscles by hand and squeeze them, which relaxes them a little bit, my voice deepens.. Are you maybe avare of possible reasons for this?
We can hold tension in any muscle anywhere, even the tiny ones we barely feel in our deep anterior neck. These control the position and function of the larynx and do affect the voice!!
OMG! I watched for relaxation all of these medical terms is ridiculous. Very smart man but the amount of talking is overwhelming. He literally spoke the entire time. I highly doubt the patient ever relaxed during this session.

I would hope that I could make a positive impact on your condition, or that you find someone who will take the time to do it right!

My voice has also changed. Well my voice hasn't changed but I can't shout or raise my voice how I used to.
Hi hope all is well with you don't understand it but enjoyed it 🙂👍🏾
Thanks for the visit!
@DrRussInYourPocket Your welcome 🙂👍🏾
Hello from Germany
Hello there!
Why can't you live in RI or MA😢

@@jayanahoney5981 that's the whole point for a lot of us though, his voice is ASMR and very soothing.
@@jayanahoney5981 oh I love descriptive talking when I receive massage. It’s sometimes the most relaxing part!
Disagree! Absolutely love the talking and the medical terms.
Asmr none stop talking. Auto dislike
Perfect.
