I just bought a 2005 dodge grand caravan and I want to use that as a storm chase car.. I did have an older caravan which was a 1997 and unfortunately it broke down and it was best that I got a newer one which is better. Any advices on what I should do with it?? Cause I do have and amber light strobe that I can attach when I go out storm chasing
@TheCodyvideo You don't need a cable modem for a router to work. All the cable modem does is provide internet to the router. The router is simply a network "hub". It's responsible for distribution of connections. I suspect that they have either some sort of cell or other connection for internet.
I can at least tell you why they did this.. This was most likely a scout car used in vortex 2 and deployed pods in front of tornados for measuring data

Yes it does, these mobile mesonet vehicles are used to collect measurements around tornadoes. Judging by the time this video was posted, I think this was used for the Vortex 2 opperation.

Tornadoes don't like being chased, that's primarily why they cause all the destruction they do.
All I would do is put a damn good roll cage in and seats with a five point harness. This is just overkill

@@leadaviation6383 RFD winds can flip a vehicle easily over. So yes, a roll cage would be perfect just like in the tornado hunter's Ford F150
