Great comparison of the details, RIP to Herb, he was also a dow driver for Dr Josh Wurman. I truly believe tiv 2 can handle more abuse due to its profile, to me the dom 3 sits pretty tall, seems it can catch more wind.
not sure why they changed 2024 tiv 2s threshold to 220 when its a literal tank, its more armored them dom 3 and weighs more and have twice more the spikes etc, they should really buff the threshold to 155 to 230 atleast like the rest of the varients
It was at 230 originally upon the launch of 1.21, so this was a very recent change. Surprised me too, but then again you have some guys in charge who think that the vehicle's gotten weaker because it's older, when today it is in arguably the best shape it's ever been. 🙄
@@BrightMxnd11 For a brief gust, maybe. But sustained? I highly doubt that. Even Ryan Shepard himself in an interview said that he thinks 215+ would be really pushing it. I did run some (very basic) calculations a while ago on what TIV 2 and other interceptors could theoretically survive, and got a value of ~239 mph. However, I only think that might be possible if the vehicle gets some extra upgrades, that being extended side flaps to cover the back wheels at the very least, then maybe an extra pair of anchors and a new back flap.

You and the devs should make it so TIV2 2008 tires can pop off at any time and the time to replace them takes 1 minute, and a axle can snap and the repair time is 3 minutes
Hey Jesse, i recently saw the 30million cape video, and I was wondering on how I can get in Touch with the dev? Because me and my friend did some experimenting and figured out that on console like Xbox you’re vehicle for some reason has a max speed at about 50? Even when I bought The combi ki it was still slower than the TIV so my friend on PC swapped vehicles with me and then the combi was faster all a sudden, even though the speedometer says I’m going 120 I’m actually going 50, I’ve missed a lot of intercepts to this, please contact them about this problem

@@momotonoinam9021 Ok and? they got hit but not with 300 MPH winds the tornado probably wasnt even that strong when they got hit by it. Basic knowledge: A tornado does not have the same winds during its entire lifetime.

Realistically, i dont think the tiv 2 could survive 230, I think its fair to lower it

Fact: tiv 2 and dominator 3 use to have hatch and door noises in 1.20
i asked reed in his RUclips comment section what the dominator 3 can handle and he said low end EF4 with minimal debris.
