His idea was to turn the area into a wasteland to prevent troops and aid to make it to the peninsula. Basically this would be a Fat Man focus run. That’s why I suggested New Vegas BTW, as the Gun Runners' Arsenal DLC let’s you buy different types of mini nukes. Hopefully this helps to make the challenge more than a pacifist run with extra steps, plus the variety of explosions might help to make the experience less repetitive, and maybe even tactical as each type of mini nuke have different aspects. Also because this is a character run, you should know that despite his willingness to use nukes MacArthur only carried a .32 semi automatic pocket pistol (apparently for him the solution for most problems was either an scalpel or a chainsaw). The only .32 pistol in New Vegas is the Police Pistol from the Dead Money DLC, the problem is that’s a revolver not a semi automatic pistol, however any other relatively small pistol should do the trick. Whatever the case, the pistol should be useful at the beginning of the run and for killing anything that might have survived a mini nuke. As for the look? The best I can think of is to somehow get all of general Oliver’s clothes (boots and cap included) and complement it with some massive sunglasses and a smoking pipe, though for that last one anything relatively close to it should do the trick. Personally, I think an Ash Williams from the Evil Dead run for one of these games would be neat to see from ya. I’ve been attempting one in New Vegas, and it is pretty fun. My only restriction is that I can only use weapons that Ash has used in the movies. (I haven’t watched Ash Vs. Evil Dead yet.) In my case…. -Caravan Shotgun (Boomstick) -Cowboy Repeater (Army Of Darkness Theatrical Ending) -Chainsaw (Duh. Though I did use the Ripper until I got the Chainsaw from Motor Runner) -Knife (Who’s Laughing Now?)
The perk is for deflecting arrows, which makes them pickups on the ground and negates the damage. However, the perk itself is very buggy for complex hitbox reasons (arrows go through the shield and hit your character 90% of the time). Otherwise, you can block arrows without any perk to reduce, but not negate, their damage.

You can loot the pickaxe, fishing rod, and woodcutter's axe you need to get started, but everything else you use for combat MUST be crafted by you, with materials you gathered yourself. The only horse you're allowed to use is the dwemer automoton, as that's the only one you can craft. No fast Travel. You must construct a fully functioning house and only use that one for your home, and optionally, add all crafting stations. Then you must complete the main quest with only weapons and armor you crafted yourself from materials you mined/gathered yourself. Any gold you need to complete these goals, like buying the plot of land for the house, must be purchased in true minecraft fashion; with emeralds. Mine them, refine them, sell them without making jewelry. Alternatively, you can sell other things you've made, as long as you do not purchase any gear, potions, food, or materials, but you have to keep all septims as emeralds untill you have to spend them, spending them all into emeralds at, say, kahjiit traders, or general goods stores. You MAY purchase training, but again, only with emeralds you mine. Alternatively, you can nix the purchasing training all together for extra challenge, or mine and smelt gold bars instead of emeralds for less challenge.
Can you beat Fallout 4 using only the Console? Oh no! 210 years of cryosleep has left the Sole Survivor paralyzed from the neck down, and its up to you, the omnipotent god of this world, to help them achieve their destiny. In this challenge, you must play in third person mode at all times, and the only thing you can do that involves controlling the Sole Survivor is speaking with NPCs and activating entrances. Instead, you can use any console command that doesn't directly change quest progress. Instead of attacking, you can use the 'kill' command. Instead of picking up items, you can add them directly to your inventory. And instead of walking, you must use console commands to teleport your character to where they need to be.

You can only recruit dogs and wolves to aid you and can only use summons that are wolves (Conjure Familiar and Conjure Flaming Familiar) - Skyrim ABC Challenge. Using the Enchanting Table to rename weapons after Patreon Members. The weapons most be appropriate for the name. (Example: ThunderAx is any Axe with a Shock enchantment and BladeODarkness is any Ebony Sword.) - Any FallOut Game: ABC challenge but it extends to all items and companions. A = Anti-Material Rifle, B = Boone, C = Cateye, D = Dynamite, S = Stimpacks, , etc. You still cycle weapons but skip letters you are using elsewhere. - Dark Souls as a hollow. Broken Straight Sword and Hollow Warrior armor only. - FallOut 4: Can you complete the game while switching factions? Once all factions are available, start doing a single Brotherhood quest, when it is completed, do and complete an Institute quest, then do a Minutemen quest, followed by a Railroad quest, and start over. I don’t know if it’s possible (except with Radiant Quest) but I thought it was interesting. - FallOut 4: ABC challenge without renaming any weapons. Alternatively, you can only rename weapons after your Patreon Members. - Skyrim as a Bandit Chief. You start the run by killing the bandit chief in Embershard Mine and then you take his gear. You can only change gear by killing another bandit chief and taking their gear.

Evil Dead yet.)
In my case….
-Caravan Shotgun (Boomstick)
-Cowboy Repeater (Army Of Darkness Theatrical Ending)
-Chainsaw (Duh. Though I did use the Ripper until I got the Chainsaw from Motor Runner)
-Knife (Who’s Laughing Now?)
the best jokes in your vids are the half second clips or audio. the send me on my way clip took me totally off guard. jumpscare of rusted root
Can you beat Fallout NV as an Omerta?
That'll only work if he's still allowed to kill the rest of them.
@@katanah3195*as an ex omertà *
@kadecoleman4104 In that case it's simply an excuse for a killing spree in Gomorrah - so I have a feeling Nerbit would be down for that.
If the Throw Voice audio isn't replaced by "Look! Listen!", I'm going to start a riot.
In base Skyrim, I think you need a skill to block arrows with a shield.
Nah just hitboxes somewhat wonky the perk decreases the damage taken from a blocked arrow if I remember correctly
Honestly just thought it was Skyrim being Skyrim making arrows ignore, everything
Right before Homer screaming NERDDDD I was already thinking it. But you are right.
Playing Skyrim as Link. If only you could smash every urn in the game. Oh well, at least you can loot gold from them so you at least have some money collecting from random pots.
And that Metal Gear Rising Revengeance reference in the infiltration mission was pretty cool.
"Its like the Xbox 360 or PS3 version so this will be... Nostalgic?"
"I turned on motion controls... they remind me of Twilight Princess, the best zelda."
Nerbit was my favorite sibling.
I’m gonna request this but can you beat fallout 4 while being chased by a terminator (marked for termination mod)
This just gave me ideas for a new playthrough. Love the content.
“Can you beat Skyrim as Link?”
*sees Dovakin is right handed*
“….guess not.”
There's several zelda games, including BOTW, where he's right handed. Heck even ocarina master quest on 3ds did this.
Equip blade on left hand?
He's been right-handed ever since Twilight Princess (Wii edition) mirrored the game so righties could hold the Wiimote in their right hand.
-As a leftie who'll take all the representation he can get, I'm only minorly salty-
13:48 „Ma BOY this peace is what aaaall warriors strived for“ „i just wonder what GAaaaaanons up too“ *Aladin type nockoff flies in* „your majesty ganons minions have siezed the island of corridai“
I did this run a few months after the switch version came out. It was a lot of fun.
9:30 nice reference!
You could have used the banish enchantment for "The Sword That Seals The Darkness" as daedra are very rare in the main story so it would make it too easy and it would make sense for the blade to banish evil
"Twlight Princess - The best Zelda."
- The nords may have forgotten respect for the clever craft and wisdom, but your comrades reside in throngs in these halls.
1:52 jeez 3%
Sweet video. I have done this twice: the second time was obviously the same, with the Switch version, but the first time was back in 2012 with green clothes and the fine hat. Because I wasn't using chest armor, I needed to buff myself with gauntlets and a heavy shield (the Hylian Shield should definitely count as heavy armor; the shield does not count to armor bonuses anyway). It was a super challenging and fun run.
This actually is nastolgic for me since the switch version was the first one I finished the main story in while playing as a wood elf with the link armor. I always got too distracted by mods to finish the story on pc.
The Master Sword remains bloodless because Nintendo specifically requested it.
Wow tears of the kingdom is way different from how i thought it would be. Todd Howard must have snuck into nintendos offices and changed their game
If only there were some Metroid items in Fallout, otherwise I’d be shouting from the rooftops asking for a “Can you beat fallout (3, NV, 4) as Samus Aran”
Mods
I believe that you can only block arrows after getting a specific block perk
Yeah I was giggling when he said that lmao
man I love your videos. they are so fun to watch. keep up the good work.
Nerbit kiss me
A heart will have to do
@@Nerbit13098 life is full of compromises xox
The 1 second bit of Send Me On My Way caught me so off guard at 9:30 great song though :)
My university dissertation is done, my MA application has been accepted... and now Nerbit grants us the this master peice.
Shame it's not, beating Skyrim as Cesar Millan. Bit this is going to be amazing
I have never had a shield block an arrow, I legitimately thought it couldn't until this video.
I've been wanting to do a run in New Vegas that's basically "Can you beat New Vegas as a Powder Ganger?" But I have no way of playing New Vegas right now
It's the usual challenge run where you complete "Run Goodsprings Run" and from there on you only use Powder Ganger faction armor and weapons (9mm, the types of Dynamite, Powder charges, etc) felt it might be fun.
(BTW me and my BF are huge fans of your channel and probably make up 1% of the views on your MGS saga video. Keep up the amazing work Nerbit!)
I can't wait for Nintendo to claim your soul for this video
That "Send Me On My Way" bit caught me so off guard, amazing.
11:12 ok seeing link preforming the cinematic kill on the dragon is really cool
"With Link now the protagonist of *2* open world games"
Meanwhile, OG LoZ, Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask all spit out their drinks upon hearing that
This should have been a Could you beat Skyrim as Twilight Princess Link? That way you could use the Werewolf form.
Hyrule kingdoms of the hylians,
"Cool, so by that logic he shall make a High Elf Character"
Nerbit makes a wood elf
"Wtf?"
I think it makes sense. Kokori Village had children elves in it in Ocarina of Time.
Blame Bethesda. It's the Bosmer that gets the access to normal blue eyes in he Switch version.
Also, Link is way too short to be a high elf. Wood Elves are the shortest race in the game, Link being one makes sense.
@@AntiKira20 How to say you've never played OOT without saying you haven't.
this video is the perfect birthday gift, thank you nerbit
Happy birthday man
Skyrim Minecraft Challenge; you must only use items you craft yourself; No looting, No purchasing, not even materials; you have to gather those yourself.
8:20 And make the Sword Beam Blue instead of red!
Also the reason the Master Sword never gets blood on it is _because_ it's the Master Sword. It's the Blade of Evil's Bane, no Blood shall ever Stain it, not even Ganondorf's.
Video 10 of annoying Nerbit:
I have 10 suggestions:
- Dark Souls as Abraham Lincoln. Everyone is a slave to the cycle of Fire and Darkness. Dark Souls 2 has an ambiguous ending and Dark Souls 3 have a few endings what destroy the cycle. You must stay human/embered the entire run.
- Can you beat New Vegas with only Pew Pew?
- Dark Souls as Grognak. Try to bring FallOuts Grognak the Barbarian to Dark Souls
- Skyrim as Cesar Millan (minus a final shout at Alduin)? You can only recruit dogs and wolves to aid you and can only use summons that are wolves (Conjure Familiar and Conjure Flaming Familiar)
- Skyrim ABC Challenge. Using the Enchanting Table to rename weapons after Patreon Members. The weapons most be appropriate for the name. (Example: ThunderAx is any Axe with a Shock enchantment and BladeODarkness is any Ebony Sword.)
- Any FallOut Game: ABC challenge but it extends to all items and companions.
So glad I stumbled back on your channel forgot you were one of the good skyrim youtubers
Mom: We have Breath of the Wild at home.
Breath of the Wild at home:
The placement of the Homer "Nerd" just about killed me off
with the built in mods they even have elemental arrows, a link run is super fun... im currently trying to make my elder scrolls online build in skyrim lol its pretty interesting trying to cast and keep up multiple spells
Local child is running around breaking every pot within the country.
Challenge suggestion:
Can you beat Skyrim as Ahzidal?
More specifically, only using Ignite and Freeze spells. The biggest challenge is just getting the damn Ahzidal's Ring of Arcane.
Before i even start the video, if i hear more than one "hey link listen" im committing toasterbath tonight😂😂
I can't imagine legitimately playing Skyrim on the Switch. Props for suffering though it for this video.
